I am suffering from sciatia nerve pain which has worsen. My primary doctor and specialist pain management doctor refuse to give me permission to use marijuana. I do not want to get addicted to pain pills. I have RA and am 66. I would like to stay mobile to walk to church, grocery, library. I live in SF. I wonder what my options are and how I might advocate for the FDA to allow testing.

Tks for this post. Just the other day, I read about how Radio Shack lost a law suit due to age discrimination. They fired someone who was only 54. While I was glad to learn he won the case, I was surprised. Guess I'll be taking my business to their competitors until they make a public apology.

Perhaps too soon to assess.

Coincidently, just this afternoon I e-mailed an explanation/my vision for how Facebook's
features, i.e. two way interaction versus just hosting a website could benefit our fraternal organization.
Many in this group are at least 30+ and not in what has been called the "early adapters" segment.

For me, I'll no doubt give it a try tomorrow. I still remember years ago sitting in Herb's Cafe,
now Toast on 24th in Noe Valley,(SF) trying to convince a close friend that Marc A. and Netscape
was going to change the world.

Yep, it's better, less clutter, more organized but I used to be an elementary teacher and not only organized and de-cluttered but
color coded everything, teaching the little munchkins everything has its place. :-)

I just read an article yesterday that women were the real frugalistas in this recession.
Where are the ladies in this photo? i.e Christina Romber, at least.
Not think I can't name the economists: John Maynard Keyes,
Joseph Stiglitz, Paul Krugman, Peter Orszag, Paulo Volcker, Larry Summers,
Ben Bernanke, Allan Greenspan, Milton Friedman....and I could continue
with Banks, Wall Street, CEO Fortune 500, etc.
