I think his decision is a wise one. Donnie Yen has always been quite smart and I have nothing but respect for him. The speed of Yen and Hung are amazing. It must be hard going that fast and holding back.

Pretty good reveiw. It's a shame that the movie could have been a lot better with a more experienced director and more deveolped. It still sounds like Jaa's best efforts though. Can't wait till get this. P.S. Mark, How did you get the movie a day early? I thought the movie comes out tomorrow?

To BruisedLo: I know your probably joking but please don't let one likely trool ruin our whole race. (For all we know he could be white.) I personally love alomst anytype of quality martial arts movies and this one looks good. It's good to see Vincent Zhao finally getting a decent movie role. The only problem is I'll probably end up waiting over a year and a half for a region 1 release like I am for Ong Bak 2 and Ip Man.

The trailer didn't blow me away. But it looks almost mortal kombat level. (which is a good thing.) Grips: Heihaichi looks like a bum, christie is white, kazaya and jin's hair not spiky enough and kazay's missing his scars. (was he weilding axes?)

It took em long enough. I'm tired of waiting a year for good releases of Jaa's movies. I've seen like every fight ten times already.

Your blowing this way out of proportion. I'm sure Mark Pollard respects Chan very much. This is a site about "kung fu cinema" afterall which chan played a big role. It's kinda easy to see Chan's film career is going down hill and trashing his argualy best movie is not helping him a bit. I like Chan but it makes me shake my head at these stupid(yes stupid, not smart, whatever you wanna call it) comments he's making. He needs to think before he speaks and if you are any kind of good fan you would see that. Mark is not trashing Chan as a person, he's just stating the truth.

Maybe I don't understand what you mean but Kill Bill was definitely not the last martial arts film to hit the big screen. I wouldn't even strictly catorgorize it as a martial arts film. What about Forbidden Kingdom, Red Belt, *sighs* Never Back Down? And the foreign films that came over like Fearless and Protector?

No I have not seen The Fifth Amendment and is this about what makes money or what makes a quality martial arts movie/or movie in general? Just because Michael Keaton didn't fit my discrpition of Bruce Wayne doesn't Wayne doesn't make the movie bad. I didn't mind when he was in the batsuit and no matter who they pick for batman it's still going to make money becuase it's BATMAN. P.S. Are you a fan of Jay Chou?

The thing is most ppl are probably tired of seeing pop stars in martial arts roles. Why not just put the real thing to have a more natural looking movie. And, by the way, I thought Michael Keaton was almost as lame of a batman as George Clooney.
