I feel so bad, up on the glacier I had blue skies and clear views out to the sea! I highly recommend starting at Landmannalaugur and walking through to Þórsmörk too. It's awesome and if you did Fimmvörðuháls in a day, that direction, you should be able to knock off Lauagavegur in a couple of day. Another mad combination of terrain :)

Curious as to the use of IS in the subtitling when he is clearly heard using the Daesh term, given the requests by many on the ground to not legitimatise the combatants by referring to them as a state.

1) The 'gnarly cross through' is a piece of piss, don't know what everyone's whinging about i.e. James ;-) 7B seems high to me but i do just fit in the gap nicely.

2) Suits me, good fun crimping as you say 7A probably, but could be 7A+

3) That move off the crimps is peeing me off!

4) Scrappy matching for me in the middle but alright before and after, 6B+ seems right.

5) Missed a lot of the afore mentioned tiny feet by going horizontal and using hand holds to do a lot of the moves, 6C seems right again.

6) Definitely low end, definitely splits the field between those who do and don't trust heel hooks.

7) Bloody last move ... (wiill be easier when volume comes down!)

9) I would happily call myself short and didn't find it of consequence.

10) Would have said a touch easier than 6C+ they're pretty chilled straigh forward moves after the first rockover.

11) Horrible, morpho thing! Can't make a single move on it!

14) Easiest of the bunch 6B if the one on the other side of the island is 6B+

15) Assume I only did it post tweak, 6B+ seems spot on.

25) Flashed it and now can't do the last move, go figure.

26) I think the beginning's easy for the short and then you have to pop a bit to the triangle hold but it's not too bad. It seemed particularly hard for Rory!

27) For something I asssumed would go quite quickly (I can get out the escalator relativelty easily using low right foot and left knee bar), I still haven't done the last move.

28) More accuracy required by me getting my foot across (I can land it on the red hold every time...)

29) Fantastic problem, brilliant toe hook - love it!

30) Ugly last move! (seems I've said that about a lot this set!)

Brilliant cheers for that! Had got a Magsafe to Magsafe2 adapter for my old charger so I didn't have to lug the new one between rooms. I was short of slinging it when it said it wasn't charging the battery - I assumed it was old and decrepit!

Hah, absolutey agree with you there! Why do you reckon the foreground/background colour matching is so off when their faces appear at 0:06, surely they'd have been painted on cel and layered over?!

Everything's backwards here - got put on meds to cheer me up, with side effects that reduce my appetite, then the new bouldering centre opened and since I'm off work, I've been down there for 3 or 4 hours a day, 3 or 4 days a week... Great except,coming home I'm then exhausted, fall asleep without any sort desire to eat, despite burning hell knows how many calories!

Tum-tee-tum once the body chemistry's settled down, I'll be more sensible and inclined for post training protein binges and some clever carb-cramming before hand.

This year I've been a bit more dramatic and ended up signed off work with depression. Drastic as that is, it means that I can spend all day at the bouldering centre nearby, swings and roundabouts s'pose ... Still dumb as it sounds, rather miss working.
