In my neck of the woods, it appears as though the County is looking to improve the bid process and open it up to new businesses being awarded contracts. Hip Hip Hurray for Change!

First step is to register as a certified vendor with your local/state government agencies. This is a great first step and way to market your biz to other vendors as well as get on the list for stimulus $'s.
