I suspect that  about 100 years ago there were serious rich mechanical folk belittling those that had cars to go shopping.  Technology may lead in a certain direction, but joyfully does not compel, it is humans who inevitably start to decree what we should do or think, or at least appear to do or think.  What I see here are attempts to establish status by rival groups...but then I grew up in the 60's along with 'Deschooling Society' and the 'Medium is the Mass age' (which is me establishing my status I suppose)&lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Leshere</dc:creator><pubDate>Tue, 03 Mar 2009 01:38:15 -0000</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
