May I ask a quick question here - my NDX showed that it hasn't reached the number that the intermediate trendline says to go long. Which symbol is it tracking?

Could you trade the 2x ETFs based on these signals?

Thank you again for taking the time to answer our questions. REally appreciate it!

So let me summarize what you said to make sure that I understand correctly -

* Primary Trend is the absolute number;

* Stops and entries don't have to be absolute and it can varied based on individual's risk tolerance.

* Based on the system signal today, the short term is bearish. As long as your entry is in between the orange shaded area, it's considered a good entry, and you can manage the stoploss based on your own tolerance. Suggested stop is above 106x.xx.

* Until we hit or break 102x.xx, the trend is bearish short- term and bullish intermediate or long term.

Am I interpreting the system correctly? Thanks again!

That's exactly what I saw too. Now, since S&T also gave a number XXXX.XX as a stop suggestion, in a case like today, it is also the same number as the entry, you would have gotten stopped out.

If the stop is discretionary, then one may still be in a short trade if they had placed a 2-5 point stoploss.

I have a follow up question, if you don't mind.

You mentioned in previous post that we should follow the primary trendline and watch intraday signals for directions.

Today, I am watching the intraday signals at work, and it was fun to watch, honestly. My question is that when intraday signals changes 3 -4 times a day, what would be the best course of action? For example, it gave a short signal at xxxx.xx and a bear grading of 1 with the stop target at the same entry price. Then, it gave another short signal right at the primary trend line number with the same stop number. After that, we got 2 ticks above it and I see that we came back to being bull at 10. Now, of course, we are back to bear 1 after the close.

Personally, I did try a short with the stop at the same price, based on the recommendation. AFter I got stopped out and seeing how the signals goes back and forth, I decided not to do anything until after the close. Is that the correct method?

Thanks for reading and if you can help to show us how to use the system better, I would greatly appreciate it as this is my first time seeing this sytem in action this way - very exciting!!

Wasn't the top spotter confirmed already when we had the close on Wed? It closed below 1080 something (top spotter mentioned confirmed if closed below 108X.XX), which confirmed that. Did I miss something?

I will refrain from mentioning the number from now on. I just wanted to make sure I was getting it right and asking question based on that..lol

One more question - you mentioned "watch for intratrend signals on the short term tab for specific instructions". Did it ever send a signal during the day today to "sell partial" at a specific price that was mentioned in the wrap-up email today? I don't recall seeing it so I am not sure if I missed something. Or does the signal only show up after the close?

Email at the close today showed that both IT and ST had sell partials at XXXX.XX.

May I ask if top-spotter is confirmed now that we have a closed below 1082?

Also, you mentioned yesterday that never go against the primary trend so what is the next step for action now? Wait and see if it goes below 1065.25, which is the short-term primary trend before shorting?

Awesome results for that system, Alex. I love swing trading if I can so I don't have to sit in front of the computer all day long.

Is that a 20 point stop-loss? I think most of us daytraders lose money because, more often than not, our stops are too tight and the market takes our money upfront before the trade is going our way.

Will load up some puts tomorrow as well.

Could we have the "Friends" list back? It was much easier to see one friends' aggregated comments in on place. Now we have to scroll through so screens to see that one persons' all comments. Please at least make it an option.

I too am learning to read the market profile using NT platform. How do you build Price based bid-ask profile using NT? I am using Zenfire data feed. Which data feed are you using?

I have the TT data feed but cannot find the x_study feature that you mentioned. Are you using ninjatrader with this TT data feed? Thanks!
