Wow! This blog idea worked great! I've been incredibly busy today and you ladies have it all figured out in the meanwhile! Yeah! I figure Tammy and I will get to Columbus earlier than the rest of you who are coming from out of town. So - call my cell to find us when you arrive. Nancy - thanks so much for taking care of dinner reservations! That was an awesome help! This is going to be great..can't wait to see all of you. Remember to send your cell phone numbers to my email (don't post here). Check in time at the Doubletree is 4:00. Both rooms are in my name. Carolyn - meeting up with Amanda will be great. WOW! After 31 years of wanting to see the OU Marching 110 perform at the Ohio Theater in Columbus, I was finally able to last night. It was absolutely awesome. So much talent and so much energy. Next year, you're going to have to join me! Just fabulous. I'll post pics when I'm able. Now getting ready to join up with family for a Thanksgiving in the mountains of Virginia. Hope you all have a wonderful, blessed Thanksgiving. Love ya!

Great recipes! Keep them coming, ladies! Some of you may be interested in the outcome of the college search for Breanna. She has chosen OSU! She will go to Newark the first year, then Columbus. She's studying Food Science. Would love to hear who has tried which recipe and how it came out. I'm making pecan pies this afternoon and freezing them. Take care all!

Hey - Sorry I haven't gotten the latest details up for the Reunion Weekend. Life is crazy. I am writing now from Charleston SC. We traveled 14+ hours yesterday (and back home tomorrow), to deliver Issac and Maria to their new home. "The College of Charleston" has an ADPi house just a couple of blocks away from the kids house. The ADPi house is a beautiful Antebellum style home and I got caught getting my picture taken in front of it. The girls were really friendly and one of them was even from Columbus! They were preparing for bid night tonight. Later, we found that Charleston blocked off all the streets around the campus - not sure if it was for bid night...but perhaps? I have very much enjoyed all the chatting on the message board. Keep it up! And yes - send me pics...Helga...Linda...whoever! I'd love to get them posted. I still need to get the OU/OSU pics up as well.

So good to hear from all of you! I have spent the day at the OSU-OU game....or should I say OU vs OSU? What a game. We were ahead until the fourth quarter! I was sitting in a sea of red. The crowd was fairly good natured before the game started. Mostly they kind of looked down their noses at playing OU - and the joke that it was going to be. The joke was on them, as it turned out. We kept playing a great game, and OSU kept sleeping through it.... The crowd turns pretty quickly at OSU. They are one of the moodiest groups I've ever been around. The language got fowl right along with the mood. I thoroughly enjoyed it! I will try to post pictures, so make sure to ck those out. The final score left OSU with the Win - -but the lead up to it was PRICELESS! Oh - one other thing to tell you.... We all know that OSU yells O-H-I-O as one of their cheers. TODAY, the OU kids kept adding a U at the end of the cheer. It was great!

Ha! You guys make me feel so old! Those of you who graduated after me, may
remember that I brought a 4 wk old baby to Homecoming in 1982. He is now 26
and been married for 2 years! (My 21 year old just got married, and my baby
is 17 in her senior year.) I'm pretty sure Kathy Kopp gets the prize for
the youngest and I do for the oldest!

I have just ordered 20 tickets for the ballgame. We have tickets almost on
the 50 yard line and rows 5 and 6. Ought to be good! Tickets are $10 each,
assuming we sell all 20 of them. Had we bought them individually, they
would have been $25 each. Plans are coming together!

You're funny. My baby is 17 - -but there are some sisters out there with children younger than yours. Maria? Kathy? Care to share? Marilyn it looks like you are associated with the Vineyard. My son just married a gal he met at the Vineyard small groups at OSU. It's fun to see all the updates on here ladies. Keep it up!

GOOD JOB LADIES! Funny to see so many of you replying within a few minutes
of each other! Jeannie - sorry I messed up your name. My memory is
terrible! As to what to bring: depending on how many folks show up, I may
actually have beds for all, so I'll let you know. I do have a swimming pool
and a hot tub, so bring a suit! Other than that, I haven't thought through
any details yet, but will keep you posted!

Glad to hear you two are enjoying Cabo so much! We've all enjoyed your blog postings! The wedding was absolutely perfect! I have gotten MANY comments about how wonderful it was. Everyone really enjoyed themselves. Folks commented on how they had never seen so much dancing at a wedding, how everyone seemed to click with one another, how absolutely beautiful Maria is, and how we did a great job making the entire occasion more about relationships/community and less about 'details'. Way to go, guys! You have a ton of folks behind you - loving you and praying for you! We love you much! Mom (Laurie)
