Of course most small business owners and associations favor McCain. I think this election has changed however from being based on facts and what's good for the country to lies, and unproven rhetoric. I don't know how you combat this when much of the younger generation has no knowledge of the past.

This is one of the things we need to reform rather quickly. The naiive Obama thinks that George Bush is the problem and that once he replaces Bush all the problems will be solved. It would be a rude awakening once he found out that all of the real problems are simply 'above his pay grade'. It's not really about pay grade....it's about service to fellow Americans. Politics is not for those who need power and fame like Obama, it's for those who want to serve like McCain/Palin.

Obama and his supporters feel cheated whenever they see money being spent for anything. If the government spends $750 billion to help Wall/Main Street, Obama will want to spend another $750 billion or more to put money in non-taxpayers pockets. People who already have good healthcare plans cheer his plan. People who don't have any kids cheer his education plans. These people are not really interested in these programs, they are really only interested in leadership. That's why once the maverics emerge (and stop holding back), with a message for all Americans, the hopes of Obama will fade into the sunset. This election is not the time for partisan politics. If he punches you, punch him back. Don't be a doormat. Otherwise it's your job to carry the message, not the mess. The Dems will implode if they keep tying McCain to Bush and if they keep blaming Bush for the current economic woes which were created by 1980's policies. They are already starting to implode after Pelosi's speech today and the 'No' votes by Democrats.

Pretty good although you can do with out mentioning Obama/Biden's position. You're just giving them ammunition. Why not just state your position loud and clear and stop feeding into the need to attack. That's my opinion anyway.

John McCain was right, that's just a fact. Obama has no position on the majority of issues so he has to look to someone with the experience of McCain for a sense of how real American's feel. Obama could not give a straight answer to any question on his own.

We need a new Congress. If they invest $700 billion of taxpayer's money into the private sector our forefathers will roll over in their graves. The government needs to play the role of government which is to stay out of our markets. Let me buy some of the mortgage backed securities for 10 cents on the dollar and keep your filthy corrupt hands off. We need new leaders who understand the constitution and know the role of government. This congress is an immature lot. Naive and gullible they will believe anything. The whole congress should take a year off and go back to school for lessons in US History and Economics.

The bombing of the US Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania in 1998 along with the list of 249 other embassy attacks between 1987 and 1997, as reported by the US State Department, should be enough for anyone with intelligence to know that diplomacy doesn't always work. If paying more taxes is Patriotic, then the 40% of Americans who don't pay any income taxes (the same ones that Obama is promising a tax cut) must not be very Patriotic. In fact based on Biden's logic, they are traitors. True patriotism would mean that every American should pay their fair share of taxes, and that share should be as minimal as possible - free from waste and inefficiency..

I believe in John McCain. He and Gov. Palin seem to be in touch with what's going on in America, and they have the ability to bring real reform. I don't believe in nor have confidence in Senator Obama's socialist policies which would have government replace many of our key economic sectors. We just need a fair playing field and the opportunity to compete, not government run organizations. These issues require leadership not internet saavy, smooth talking, cool, politicians like Obama.
