This update is to Facebooks advantage only. It's a way to distract people, and make them feel better about the fact that facebook 1. Pushed ads up, and 2. Made more room for more ads.

I'm not saying I blame facebook for wanting to make more money, but they got a big boost in revenue after the last page update. I'm guessing we'll be hearing about another revenue boost shortly.

I'm a PHP programmer, and a python noob. I'm very interested in Tornado, and have an application in mind for high volume traffic, and it's a simple idea I have. Would I be wish to switch from PHP before I begin, dive into learning Python and Tornado at the same time?

If so, where should I start, knowing absolutely nothing about Python?
