Unfortunately, the more egregious misformation is coming from proponents (including Schooligan) who claim we need the LHD to prevent development of gas stations along High St or to keep chains out of the downtown.

As for anonymity, I don't want to have to worry about whether my speeding ticket is a result of my criticizing the police, my permit denial a result of opposing the LHD, or a spike in my property assessment from criticizing the mayor.

I realize that in their paranoid fantasies some believe opponents to be developers and their surrogates when in reality we are simply homeowners who want to retain control over the cosmetic aspects of our property or those who are sympathetic to such. There are also many for whom cash flow is a far greater concern than potential capital appreciation and they too deserve a voice.

Name one 200+ year old structure that has been torn down to build on the back side of the ridge......

No one is going to tear down a $700K+ structure to access an acre or two a land. You have to stop listening to the folks who are purely anti ALL and ANY development.

Cloud the truth ? you don't seem to understand the truth.... You guys seem to want to have it both ways - it can't be both unbuildable and generate significant tax revenue. Open does not mean public - if it's conveyed to the city you can walk it on - otherwise it would remain undeveloped private property.

I'm not sure how the rear parcel loses it's current 61A simply because the front parcel is sold and rezoned...
