I notice that this article has ZERO pictures of the mammals. I wonder why that is? Could it be that having 2 adult wolves in a 3X5 dog kennel on a gravel parking lot with ZERO shade, doesn't match the idea that he is "saving" these animals? I have seen the conditions that the wolves, coyotes, foxes and raccoons are living in.....and it's not pretty.

There is a difference (that many people miss) between loving the PERSON and loving their ACTIONS. When my son was a child and was doing something that could cause him lasting harm (stinking something in a light socket, putting his hand on a hot stove) I disciplined him BECAUSE I loved him, not the actions. A person is not solely made up of their actions.....so do not mistake a persons disagreement with your actions as not loving you. Sometimes it is because they love you that they disagree/disapprove.

Sweetie, you need a remedial reading course. I did not make that claim initially - the Granite School District police chief did. I simply quoted it to show the districts reasoning. I opined on it sure, but the initial claim is in the quoted story. As a matter of FACT, I stated (in my opinion) specifically that the law does NOT completely prevent shootings from happening here. I further stated " It is not beyond the realm of possibility - even here in Utah."

Did you even LOOK at the crosstabs on the poll John? Because if you had looked at the methodology, the only reason that anyone OTHER than an avowed leftist like yourself would see it as "disingenuous" is because it DIDN'T throw in the emotionally charged language (and a few "Rethuglicans" for good measure. The methodology in this poll was non-partisan - it has to be in order to not poison the results. Just because you don't like the outcome does not make it invalid.

Serenity - I was at a couple of the initial fact finding meetings and it sounds like this is more than just a Magna Main spruce up. The Envision Utah folks have addressed some of the surrounding neighborhood issues as well. This sounds like it is a long term plan for the entire area. The working group meets once a month (2nd Monday IIRC) if you are interested in getting involved.
