I read Slaughterhouse Five for the first time this summer and loved it. But it is hard to switch from modern (usually chick lit for me) to classic literature. My advice? Skip Winesburg, Ohio.

Hey, I resent that. I don't think I would love the "Sloppy Firsts" book series if that's all it was about. I'd like to think I'm a little smarter than that. You didn't even finish the book. If you had, and read some of the others, you would know that that's not what it's about. While I understand Judy Bloom-type books about growing pains might not be your thing, it's definitely not about misdirected angst from bitchy suburban snobs.
