It's sounds like it was amazing. Eclectic with purpose is what all dj's should strive for. Most dj's treat pandering as an art form.

A good DJ is like a good cook in my opinion. You take the familiar, the new and the unexpected, mix it together in a unique way. Sounds like Garnier's set was just that.

Re: Play Imaginative's Devilrobots Play To-Fu series one - TOMOPOP

I want the angry pirate!!

Re: Rule of Man vs. Rule of Law – President Obama is a free man’s worst nightmare

I'm an independent voter. Great book covering the sociology, history, biology and anthropology behind our sexuality and how monogamy is probably something that only developed comparatively recently in human history with the advent of farming and agriculture.

Also, the Ethical Slut is a bit dated, but still a good read.

Re: High Profile SC Swingers?

Let me make this very very clear: Polyamory is NOT swinging! But if that prison itself violates the same society's standards, then it holds no value and no moral authority. For quite awhile now US prisons have been disgraces. If a person cannot obtain due process and a fair and speedy trial, along with other Constitutional protections, then that person should be released. If you cannot house prisoners properly, you have no business housing them at all.

Re: Prisoners Treated Like Cattle in New Orleans

Thanks for lowering the bar that much further.

Re: Schools shouldn’t be promoting polyamory

By your standards monogamy shouldn't be on the poster either. It certainly hasn't met your criteria for 'successful' relationships. My advice would be to do a little more research on polyamory. Thanks. I have a rather unusual perspective on this. I'm a (mostly) straight man in a non-monogamous relationship with a heteroflexible woman (pretty standard). However, I have a huge disdain for 'unicorn hunters' for a slightly different reason. There seems to be some degree of subtle sexism at play in the roots of this dynamic. I've had people debate this with me and I don't feel that I'm any closer to having it resolved. Here's why I feel it's sexist: In the end, the couple are choosing to eliminate the possibility of a relationship with a male, despite one male already being involved.

I have no problem with FFM relationships - or any combination for that matter. For me it has to do with the 'agenda' that the couple takes beforehand: "We (a m/f couple) are going to go find ourselves a woman." Besides the sort of predatory nature in the sentiment, there's also this idea that excluding an entire gender is a good idea. Maybe it's because I'm less goal oriented (ie, I don't practice my non-monogamy with the intention of creating specific relationship structures with pre-determined numbers and genders of people). For example, although it's currently the two of us, my partner and I simply said, 'we'd like more people in our lives.' Instead of trying to force a specific gender or any other descriptor on the situation, we just try to meet interesting new people.

Some of the best friends I've made have been the male partners of my female partners. Those people can add to our lives just as much (and sometimes more) than our sexual partners. Shutting the door on a whole gender just seems tragic to me - and a little sexist. This coming from a very typical guy who thoroughly enjoys having time in bed with two ladies.

Re: ‘Polyamory’: the next civil rights movement?

Wow, there is so much misinformation and flat out BS in this article, I'm not even sure where to start. I'd love to be able to give a reasonable critique, but it would require an entire second article. Let's just start with the definition of polyamory which is entirely incorrect. Polyamory means 'many loves' not 'lover of many'. It has no direct sexual connotation at all. It simply means that a person can love more than one person at a time. That's it. It has nothing to do with swinging. From there, I'd suggest readers of this article do a little research and really forget everything written above.

Re: http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/when-fairness-goes-too-far/article/2512892

You're a sad little man with a tiny world view.
