I set a huge personal goal for myself last year at this time. I had to overcome an intense feeling of selfishness and "me first" guilt to make it happen. Perseverance and focus and an ability to block out detractors and diversions was hard for me. Support was great but not crucial. It was a mindset. Goal achieved. WIN.

I LOVE how Tenacity wins out over Location but I think Luck has a 50:50 over Team in the beginning. Rotate this flow chart 90 degrees to the left and it becomes an entrepreneur's hierarchy.... just my 2 cents.

I have the same attitude towards e mail....it's almost all work related... therefore Buzz to me is just a distraction/annoyance that takes away my focus on what I NEED to get done to get outta e mail and move on... twitter is my social ground.

I like to claim sarcasm or smartass as my middle name... Since I am Canadian, also originally from Toronto, I "get" Howard's humor and have met Andy since he lives here in Louisville so I know he has the best sense of humor.... never a dull moment if you follow those two.

When I was a kid the only thing that was EVIL (at least in my mind) was my best friend's big brother.....but of course, this was also a time when you couldn't actually buy anything unless you had the money and to amuse ourselves we opened the door and went outside to "play"... like hide-and-seek, street hockey with a tennis ball.... you know what I mean. It frightens me what our kids are exposed to now and ya, as parents we do our best to keep them on the straight and narrow....despite the odds.

There is an overwhelming nostalgia in this country right now for a more simple time.... I don't know if we will ever get there again.
