It goes back to my childhood when I once had 17 cavities. In those days the drills were powered be a series of steel chords, whizzing around on these pulley things. And the drill bits were humungous, rattling my whole body as they did their nasty work on my molars. After all was said and done I had enough metal in my mouth that I broadcast the local radio station out of mouth for months. Good times!

Re: injaynesworld we are "Guilty As Sin..."

Interesting post, Jayne. Catholics are, in a word, conflicted. In confession, "I disobeyed my parents" was a weekly favourite of mine when I struggled with things to come up with. I left the church when I convinced myself it was more important to be a nice person 7 days a week than 1 hour on Sunday. Nuns? In high school they told me my girlfriend would get pregnant if I held her hand on school property.

Re: I Hate Comment Auto Responders!

I'm with you Jen. It's a form of blogger etiquette, isn't it. I mean if you're talking to somebody on the phone for example what would you do if they never spoke? It'd be a pretty one-sided conversation. Bloggers go to a lot work with their posts to entice comments. Once they get them it's only fair to acknowledge them with an "engaging" response. Same with leaving a comment on another's blog. Hey, it took me a minute or two to think of that comment. Don't ignore it. Would you like it if I ignored your blog.

Gee, Jen, now you've got me getting my mad on. But I agree.

Re: How Not To Leave a Comment Part 2

You make an excellent point, Jan.

Re: How Not To Leave a Comment Part 2

..er, ah, Jen.

Re: eHarmony Fail

Let's pause for a moment and think about what Steve's trying to say, here. There is such a thing a a humur. Here's what Wikipedia says about it:

The Humur live around the cities of Babanusa, Muglad and Alfoula. They are divided into two groups. The Ajaira, who live in the area from Muglad to Abiyai. There are seven clans in the Ajaira. The "Nathir" or leader of the Ajaira is Ali Nimr. The second group, the Falita, live in Babanusa, Alfoula and Kajira. The leader of the Falita is Abdul Elmonim Alshowein. There are five clans of the Falita.

Or maybe Steve's trying to say he's a wild and crazy guy...OMG they sent you Steve Martin's profile.

Or maybe he's a Good Humor Man...which is what I thought before I enlarged it...and that wouldn't be a bad thing - ice cream for life.

Or he might have a Hummer. But you know what they say: the bigger the car the smaller the...

Or he might be looking for a good hummer.
