Excellent additions. I love the fact that you don't have to add people for them to do your trip. I run a food blog and wanted to create a trip showcasing the places I've reviewed in my hometown, but I couldn't imagine adding people just for the sake of doing my trip! Well done, Gowalla!

With just a few weeks of activity, I cannot see how you can already make that call. Personally, I'm seeing more check-ins via Gowalla and foursquare posting under Facebook Places than the actual Places application.
