I am so in alignment with you on this. I get tired of people thinking IU has the recruiting pull that it used to have or a bottomless well of cash. "No fire in the belly"?!?!? That's laughable. Based on what? I guarantee you Coach wants this team to win more than anybody posting on this site.

Devries has a strong portal class and solid (Top 20) class of high school recruits. Now let's see what he can do with them over the next two years before putting him on the hot seat.

There was potential there for sure, but it didn't translate to the floor. Maybe it was the big step up in conference. There was plenty of room on the roster before this announcement, now there's more. Let's use that slot well.
