I think this happens when sign up forms don't ask for first name (or make it required) and you ask to pull the information in from the contact record. Either you make first name required and always have their first name, or don't use the first name greeting.
We all do make mistakes. It reminds me of spelling or grammar errors we have sent and get REAMED for.

Re: On endings and beginnings. . .

Daniel - Congrats ! Just Sunday.... I posted a picture to Twitter/TwitPic from my mobile phone/camera of my camera & flip that were missing................ I had just found them! Now that's news!!!

I love my mobile blog - even if others don't like it, it's kind of fun that it's there for me :) And I like brightkite to see what people are up to with pictures.

In reference to real estate, I've only tended to post 'silly' pictures I come across in showings - like a smoke detector hanging from a rope in the basement with "This is not how to install a smoke detector". I have posted a picture of a listing when I'm showing (or usually just showed) on brightkite with some generic information. No returns on that - yet.

You are right - I think there are more and more things to come with the mobile phone cameras and how they are used. I'll be there!

Re: Family Day at Springton Manor Farm - Sept 27, 2008

My husband did this with our LittleOne, then 4 last year. She loved it! And he said it was very well done! Thanks for the reminder that the time is approaching again!
