With remote potato, you can watch all your recordings, anywhere in the world (except for the DRMed ones with cablecard, which unfortunately sage doesn't support anyway), With RP you can also schedule and watch recordings from your phone. The xbox is pretty f-ing loud though, so you've got me there. :) I love sage though, used it exclusively before I got a cablecard setup. If Google can roll all of the good of sage into google tv and iron out cablecard, it will be amazing.

Yeah, I do both... one of my first post-format activities is destroying all trace of Eh services... I was pretty excited when Andy came over to Sage. Some great talent to have working on the platform.

BTV already has a private beta working with official hd-pvr support, and the last public version I'd installed worked remarkably smooth, but I also have a beastly htpc. Still Sage seemed a little more stable with the HD-PVR.

I just switched to Sage after going through VMC -> BTV -> Mediaportal -> GB-PVR. All have their own benefits, VMC is by far the slickest and easiest to set up (and the most difficult to get -not to launch- if you're using a MCE remote, BTV is also extremely easy to set up, and probably the best option if TV is all you're interested in. MP has zero support for the hd-pvr (in general it's pretty bad with analog input cards and is much better for actual tuner solutions), but it's very flexible, and has some beautiful skins, and GB PVR is really reliable, but kind of clunky. Ultimately - Sage wins for me because it strikes a great balance between ease of setup and compatibility with the hd-pvr and the ability to tweak and customize to your heart's content.

All kidding aside, the situation is pretty ridiculous, and I think the sentiment that, just telling the community that there wasn't enough stuff to do a spring update this year, or they decided to devote resources to something else, etc... would have made this situation a lot more tolerable.

wow. so, with the delisting things... what about people who already bought those games? are they going to get their money back if they need to redownload the games?

So, I guess that uber-awesome rumor list was more than just a 'little' off.
