I really need to make some time and play it. About putting in $20 in the game, that\\'s another interesting area. How does an average player put into the game per month? Or rather, how much in average do player who pay put in per month?

Re: Real Money, Fake Property: Live Gamer’s Andy Schneider on Bringing Item Sales in from the Cold

We have seen that third party RMT can have negative effects on a game\\'s economy when unintended RMT emerges. But what happens if the game is built from the ground up, or as mechnics built into the game by the developers (and companies like Live Gamer)?

RMT largely has a negative impact on game economies because they are an unintended phenomenon. And usually unwanted and unaccounted for. I think we\\'ll have to wait and see.

Re: FusionFall - 5 Out Of 5, and A Raving Review Too

Fusion Fall is a game mainly aimed at kids and so it wouldn\\'t be surprising that kids would be among the commenters. With a persistent online world, divided into zones. As more information comes out, we're likely to find out more details, such as the number of players the game can support per server and zone etc. But so far, nothing seems to imply that it's a regular online FPS, which usually support no more than 64 players per server/map, with no persistant world.

We'll be sure to ask at the next opportunity we get, to get things cleared up. ;)

Re: MMOG Industry Job Openings Week 2

Hi Kath,

The jobs listed aren't with our company or site, we simply compile the list to make it a little bit easier to identify job opportunities in the MMOG industry.
