I understand the (lack of) clarity issue. It really even hard to identify why I like playing it so much... but I do. When you initially announced plans to change/upgrade Raptor Safari I fully intended to send you the following idea (but, sadly, I didn't): I could envision being able to tune in Pandora Radio on the Jeep's stereo. It would be so cool to have something like Pandora integrated into a game like Raptor Safari. Oh well, keep up the awesome work and I look forward to seeing what happens next. Growth with purpose is so necessary, so beautiful, so invigorating, so vital, and brings one closer to God. Growth just for the sake of growth could be called... cancer. Someone "smarter" than me told me that last part as I described my struggles to learn, learn, learn, and grow, grow, grow as part of my job's leadership training. Problem was that there was no foundation to it, no personal or spiritual growth with real purpose.

Re: Happiness and Love

Thank you John.
Mike

Re: Music and Spirituality

Music is a truly amazing connector, reinforcer, door-opener, relaxer, enhancer, clarifier, ...
Not trying to advertise, just share: ... have you experienced Pandora.com? Really neat and amazing internet radio. For me, it is very important to really work to experience God each and every day (& in each moment?). My personality is such that my mind will quickly stray to unhealthy rumination, especially during challenging times. I NEED to experience God in the mundane because I have a very short attention span. Without the LIFTING force of spiritual focus I am pulled steadily, if not quickly, downward. I am learning to appreciate God more more often, in more ways, and in more things. Because of this I'm learning to enjoy the moments of "every-day-ness" and in turn this brings self compassion, self-joy, and creates a happier, better to be around, more loving Mike. Whew! ... Thanks again, Mike G

Re: Music and Spirituality

John, Thank you for your Music and Spirituality piece. I like what you wrote and how you wrote it. Like many other things in my life, I FEEL music. I feel it first, experiencing the flow of the harmony long before any words sink in. Hearing the music comes second. I enjoy both aspects of it but I have to really work at HEARING it. Music was instrumental in bring both my wife and I to Christ.
Thanks again, Mike G in T.C.

Re: Uncovering my happiness

Wonderfully written and important. You are speaking to me, aren't you? Of course you are, because when I get out of my own way long enough to really listen to what is being said I often hear exactly what I need to hear when I need to hear it.
Thanks,
Mike in TC

Re: Needy?

Wonderful!
