I hate to be the one to break this to you, Newbie, but your question is hardly up there with the invention of the wheel. It has been asked here, and answered, more times than you could count on both hands.

You can ask the same question over and over but the answer is always the same.

I merely pointed out that others do it and are not taken to task equally.

If you add all of your "others" together, Walmart will still be the biggest and the WORST!

Any good points you might make are washed away by your mealy-mouthed style.

How can you disagree with me, Walmart_Worker, when we're the same person??

As a staunch fiscal conservative I find it ridiculous to spend millions and millions of dollars on a fence and beefed up border security when illegal immigration is a self-correcting problem.

All we have to do is continue to eliminate our standard of living and when the middle class in the US is poorer than the average Mexican, the flood of immigration between Mexico and the US will reverse!

Just in case there is actually anyone beside us reading this blog I love to bait SENILEBOB44 into giving us a display of his dry drunk logic.

Examples of his chaotic and unrealistic thinking: If you work for wages you are being exploited, (that smacks of Communism, don't you think?) and if you drink a beer while watching a football game you are a drunk.

Now I ask any causual reader that happens by, would you take life advice from SENILEBOB44?

If Walmart doesn't lead the retail sector in turnover, why did they quit publishing the numbers.

Snap out of it, Newbie, the turnover rate for your store and the company as a whole is posted somewhere where you can see it, or maybe they as so ashamed they've quit even telling their associates.

Walmart also stopped publishing monthly sales figures.

So, when you refer to the "decline of Walmart USA.", you are talking about the apparel division, right?

Now, pay close attention, SENILEBOB44. This isn't all that difficult if you concntrate.

When I'm writing about the decline in Walmart's apparel division, I use data like this: Walmart's apparel division has lost 1% of it's sales per year for the past two years.

On the other hand if I am writing about the overall decline of Walmart USA I would quote something like this:

Sales at U.S. stores fell 1.4% from the same period last year.

I'd say the decline is pretty evenly spread across the board. In fact, apparel is declining slower than Walmart USA as a whole.

“There are a lot of issues here, but what they add up to is the end of the age of Wal-Mart,” contends Richard Hastings, a senior analyst for the retail rating agency Bernard Sands. “The glory days are over.”

What exactly is your GAME?

Is your memory really that poor or are you foolish enough to think if you ask the same things over and over you will get different answers?

I have spent my entire life perfecting my approach to 'business' which is..

Make as much money as you can while working as little as possible. Judging from what you've disclosed here, I'd say we are in a comparable financial position.

You got there by working LONG and HARD for the 'Man', while I have only "worked" about 1/3 of the time.

Surely you're familiar with the adage "Time is money!" While I sell my time dearly.

That's my game.

We've already been over the "20,000 applications" and the consensus was that the number of applications was basically a meaningless number. Sorta like "foot traffic" Number like that sound impressive but mean very little.

Also, it should be pointed out, this is a bad recession if you're unemployed.

And lastly I would say that the vast majority of those applying for jobs at Walmart have no idea what they are getting themselves into. Close to half of them figure it out every year and quit.

You learn a lot by reading what someone writes. You learn their level of education and depth of thought. You can also determine someone's gender by the 'voice' of their comments.

Yup. I didn't say you were a fool for working manual labor most of your life. What I said was manual labor is NOT a key to the US capitalist system.

As for demeaning your pulling yourself up by the bootstraps, I'll repeat what I say everytime you try to sell you life story. You are NOT Horatio Alger. You didn't go from rags to riches. You went from rags to Walmart cheap-ass imported rags.

Also as I've pointed out before, while you were clawing your way into Middle Class, guys like Warren Buffet and Donald Trump were amassing huge fortunes.

The sad fact is the economic system you inaccurately defend really didn't treat you all that well. You worked manual labor most of your life and yet you had to move to one of the US's poorest states to improve your living conditions.

Mildly praiseworthy but hardly anything to write home about.

How would you measure an increase in customer service skills of someone who works on the floor?
