Use a ghost writer! I know this can be intimidating to write your own articles, but it is a must to gain an audience.
This is extremely important to achieve the audience and gain the credibility for yourself and your site, blog, and anything else that you are promoting or advertising.
Simon this is great information and detailed. You know how to make this user friendly.

Re: 02 - Squidoo

Thanks for the tutorial Simon, great information. It is true about telling people what to do on your page. It is the call to action. You have to engage a person and emotionally tie them in. I personally like #7: your stock worth. We all must be masters in what we do, offering sound information to those seeking it. Once gaining the trust and relationship of another person is when the transaction will happen. This could be the person buying a service, product, etc. or even becoming your biggest marketer through word of mouth.
How much do you provide? What is your stock worth? This just may be the break through you needed to move your business forward.

Re: Credibility Based Marketing

This is the same strategy as creating your sales funnel. You must provide good quality content to your people, then you will be able to gain credibility with your customers.
Getting your community involved is much more effective than one would think too. Your not asking to them to get involved, because you don't know what you are doing. You are asking them so that you can give them the content that they want (as long as it fits within your parameters of the business). This strategy will keep them coming back for more.

Re: Why listen to me?

Ah - you have let the secret out of the bag. We now know your future vision and what you are going (not try) to accomplish. This is an amazing technique, tried and true. You have become a master, my young jedi! I am with you for the long haul. I followed blindly, thinking I was just getting the education of a life time for me to implement into one of my many businesses. Now I see a MUCH bigger picture.

This also makes me think about what I have been putting together, since your teachings at Social Traffic, Inc. I have been surrounding myself with people who want to join us in our social marketing systems/techniques. It is important to hold up my end of the bargain and lead these marketers to success. That is what we have sold, therefore we must perform. We know that the eventslisted.com platform will be used as an upsell to those who really want the education and become a part of our inner circle.

Humm -much to think about! Strategizing and putting together the biz plan for our Social Marketing Wizards is a must. We have potentially made a mistake, by saying to much when we are not ready to open our doors for business.

Great insider information Simon, at least that is how I see it!

There have been times since starting with Social Traffic, Inc. that this was really to much, to fast, a lot to learn, lots of hours hours hours, but I am glad to have stuck it out with you and the team. Nothing comes easy! I have been determined to gain the knowledge in this field. It is by chance that I found you through three degrees of seperation. On the other hand one would also say; there are no accidents.

I will say this again - PRICELESS

Re: Welcome To Social Traffic

Just by chance, I ended up getting the best of the best to learn about Social Traffic. It does create a bit of fear for me. But only at first. I think about how I live my lifestyle and what I do on a daily basis. I have nothing to worry about and I am completely ok with being 100% transparent. This also allows me to trust people more quickly since we will be transparent.
The API integrated in all social networks (big or small) will make work so much more effective, if you are an online marketer or have a business online. This will make our efforts compounded, save us more time or even both.
Simon, you are a visionary/authority and I cant wait to get up to the knowledge and proficiency you are at right now. The more people we have at your caliber and working together, we will be able to stay in front of the trends and dominate social media.
- That sounds like a lot of fun to me. -
The Google Friend Connect widget is working really well. Your right about the party. It's your party and you better be a great host and take care of the party. We have installed it on our main site and it is drawing a crowd from Twitter. We tend to our site as if we live there taking care of our guests. We only provide valuable content to our guests so they can keep coming back to the party.
I think Katy and I are on to a great business platform. It is only because of what we have learned from you Simon. It is with great gratitude that we have for you. It is impossible to become a friend on so many sites, develop a relationship and expect to have massive traffic. What would you rather be: another face in the crowd or a person who always gets introduced to the VIP's at the party. I know which one I would rather be!
After a period of time, you will gain this status and the referrals will start to come. It is the gaining of momentum that you want for your business with the referrals. It would be like a shock wave going out through the crowd. Everyone will want to know who you are. What incredible technology these guys have put together for us to use for free. Yeah, there might be some trade offs (transparency of yourself), but this is the future. Marketing and media are heading to another level. It is changing so fast, what is going to be next!?!
Google has created the best viral marketing system yet. Well, maybe next to Twitter for now. There is a lot of open traffic out there just waiting for the right person to give them the content. That means FREE to me. Cha-ching. It is time to get off your lazy auto bot system and get to work. This is going to be work, to get into these communities and make a name for yourself. This is what we are dying for. Real relationships, real people to socialize with and with like interests. It is something that has been a missing element since automation. and we have become automated too or is that sheep!?!

Re: Protected: 04 - Strategy

The three questions are very powerful.
1. Who are you?
2.Who are you not?
3. Who do you want to be?
This is the most simplistic way to develop a business plan. I look back on the construction company that I have owned for the last 20 years and I can definely answer the questions. Our company lives by these rules. We have had a very successful company that has kept growing through out the years. With these questions we built a solid foundation to the company.
Now these are not the exact questions I had laid out, infact I did not even have a questionaire. In the back of my mind I knew I wanted to emulate the big boys in construction. We invested our time in taking care of the client. Making them feel like they got a better deal than what they paid for. That is where ALL of our business was established. We never spent one dime on marketing or advertising. We never had too.

Re: Protected: 05 - Gmail

The GTD plugin is a amazing. Today's technology that we are using have been here for years. They (the govt, private agencies, etc) have developed new technology that is superior and now we the public get to it.
With my life so simple and owning a internet business, it makes sense to be transparent to everyone. On the other hand, having a family... I wonder about how this may compromise their safety? I dont know enough about how people steal identities, but that is a concern to me. Guys - these are fortune 500 companies!!! I will tell you why I am now in demand! Not only am I, but my partner too. Here is the story.
We were given a task to do in a measly couple of days. Not hard to do, if you apply yourself. Mind you I had maybe 10% experience in what I was doing. With the tasks completed and a number of people trailing behind to get their homework done too, I was able to watch the positioning of a Google Friend Connect tutorial go from last page to front page in the rankings. Not only did we go to front page, but we took the #1 spot. Interestingly Google did not like our personal achievements as a group. They took our video down! Humm, isn't that manipulation of rankings? I didn't think that was supposed to happen - Google? Anyway, with some heat from the press in the journalism sector (this only rumor, I can not validate it), Google had no choice but to put the tutorial back up on youtube. How incredible is that!!!
Enough with the story, you get the picture... I could keep going on, because it is an incredible story. Google does not want anyone to know about it. Corporations pay top dollar to get the #1 spot and we did it organically for free. Other than human capital.

As I have told many of my friends, who are in corporate America, what we accomplished. They're eyes were wide open and their jaws to the ground! They cold not believe it. They have asked to set up meeting with us to run the corporate divisions for social marketing. These companies have ranged from one of the largest law firms to a food supply distributor (the largest one in the West) and a few network marketing companies. Talk about having the GOLDEN GOOSE! heheee...
My partner and I have told all of them - NO! We will not sell out to corporate America. These trade secrets are for us, to share with others who are willing to put forth the effort and build a business with us. This is a team concept with individuals. For real people who can help others. Corporate America stay where you are. You have become a greedy giant that wants what it wants yesterday. To smash what ever is in the way and pay nothing for everything you want. You have done enough damage to us and now we the people are paying the price. This is our GOLDEN GOOSE!

Re: If you were a corporation, what’s your stock worth?

i think we are guilty of accepting friend requests and going after a bunch of friends to increase the numbers. I know that I am... yeah, it is my facebook. It did not start out that way, but it is now. I do know the majority of the people, but I can not provide the quality of relationship that a friend needs. I have been building networks of people for more than 15 years now. I always ask a person if there is anything I can do to help. I get a lot of calls asking for a referral. Who do you know that does this, has always been a common phone call. I was not sure why I was doing this, I just knew that it was important. This article is a great example of why we need to do this and now look to your past. Try to evaluate what your stock is worth. Remember, it is never to late to start raising your worth.
