My ex and I both have dark hair and I have brown eyes. My ex had hazel eyes. We had a red head son with blue green eyes. There's no chance he's not my child, and there's no chance he's not my ex's son.

Re: And Now, For The Dramatic Continuation Of The Basement Baby Vs. She looks like she could snap her sisters head off as soon as they get behind closed doors where there are no cameras.

Re: Open Post: Hosted By Seth Rogen And James Franco’s Vogue Cover

Hi Saltydog, I agree. I have to give Franco a pass for now. He did Faulkner's "As I Lay Dying". It had, until then, never been adapted to film. The one thing I really like about his film is he didn't try to interpret it but just laid it out as it was written. As a Faulkner fan I will give him a pass until he really does something exceptionally idiotic. :)

Re: RIP American Vogue

Thank you Hekki! I love reading this site. This is my first time posting on this site even though I read it everyday. Thank you for giving the directions to respond to Vogue. I sent them a message outlining that this cover will be the reason I never purchase their magazine again.

Re: Paying for power jolts some military families - Hawaii News - Staradvertiser.com

I agree. I'm all for the Armed forces to pull completely out of Hawaii. Turn all facilites and land back over to the residents of Hawaii. Trust me it wouldn't chap my butt one minute to have to get on a plane and leave. I have never had to live in an area that was so hostile towards Service members and their families. We are counting down the days until we PCS. Thank God.

Re: Paying for power jolts some military families - Hawaii News - Staradvertiser.com

I agree with you to a certain point. However, we have to keep in mind that a great many of the families effected are not at a paygrade of CW4. Our family is in a similar position in that at our paygrade it isn't a hardship to have to pay for electricity and we think nothing of paying it. However, what about the lower paygrades? The Junior Enlisted and the Junior Officers (contrary to perception Jr. Officers do not make much money). If these families strive to conserve but yet because of circumstances out of their control why should they struggle? So many of our junior enlisted actually qualify for food stamps. Think about that. They qualify for food stamps but yet they leave their families and deploy. So no, I don't agree with making the lower paygrades pay for the electricity. By the way, I conserve agressively. Yet, here in Hawaii my mock bill is always over one hundred dollars. I live in new housing too. This is a part of the private housing and in the future I do see they will begin to charge us from much more. Just my humble opinion.

Re: Paying for power jolts some military families - Hawaii News - Staradvertiser.com

No the Military does not get free housing. The Active Duty Soldier receives what is called BAH. That is taken directly back by the housing office and does not pass into the Soldiers hands. That is part of the Soldiers benefits when they join and serve their country.

Re: On Walkabout On: North Franklin Mountain, Texas – Part 2

Hi, have you had a chance to hike to the tin mines yet?

On the hike that you outlined in your blog part one about the N. Franklin Mnts what is your opinion about taking four teens on that hike? They are in good shape physically but is it a safe hike?

In your picture #8 I've seen that too. I wonder what it is?

I have found that the colors of this area are subtle but as we've been here a couple of weeks now my eyes have adjusted and I can see the burnished reds in the Mnts. I love to sit out on my patio in the morning and watch the sun illuminate them as it rises in the east. Thanks again for your pictures and blog.

Re: On Walkabout On: North Franklin Mountain, Texas – Part 1

Thank you for posting the pictures and your descriptions. We arrived in El Paso to live here for the next 10 months. (My Husband is assigned to Fort Bliss). I have become enchanted with the Franklin Mnts and we intend to explore them as well.
