This despite the fact that the last three mass murderers in the U.S. were all life-long Democrats, far leftists with the typical sense of narcissistic limitless entitlement. And why does every anti-conservative radical leftist post include insults? Filthy lowlifes! Also, there is no "off the charts" gun violence in this nation ( except perhaps in leftist enclaves). Crimes of gun violence have been declinning steadily for decades and is at it lowest level in history as gun ownership has gone up..Leftists lie by first nature because they are cacogens and the truth is not in them.

All due respect to Morgan, I'm guessing that he isn't making any more jokes about physically impaired people (whom he flipantly called "cripples") since he will mos def never walk normally again. Anyone who has had a busted leg so bad that amputation was discussed AND a busted femur will tell you - the atrophy, adhesions / scar tissue will prevent normal walking most-likely for the rest of his life. Physical therapy for leg/hip compound fractures is extremely painful so getting mobility back will be under the best of circumstances very unpleasant. Even if the nerves, muscles, blood vessels are undamaged enough to regain some movement of the leg, people with severe injuriies and painful recovery periods often become addicted to pain killers so that will be another challenge he will face. He's damn lucky that he's rich enough to afford to pay for expensive medical care and doesn't earn a living by physical labor. We all need to be careful what we say about others, the Universe may be listening and decide that we need humbling.

It's much more than just one guy. Travolta has a very, very sordid past which includes a lot of highly immoral and surely some illegal things - likely such as sex with minors. He has a thing for trying to do very young (het) men under 18 (ask the below-the-line people who worked with him all of these years about that) . If the full extent of his misbehavior were to become common knowledge it would "damage his brand" irreparably. I'm thinking that his attorney's strategery (sic) is to take one attack at a time rather than open the floodgates and have to defend wholesale against a whole bunch of them - which would end up costing too much for legal teams and spook the studios. That would be the defacto end of his earning potential as an actor.

You are discussing opinionology, ( the use of one opinion to validate another). No legitimate scientific theory has ever required any sort of politically-driven consensus to validate it. Any legitimate theory is able to provide empirical results which match predictions based on theory. AGW has never done this so it is not even a theory - it is a speculative postulation. In Galileo's time, the consensus was that the Sun rotated around the Earth, so one can easily see the relative value of consensus in matters of hard science - zero. Consensus is another word for "mob rule".

Don't be so quick to criticise the Turks. Theirs is a more complex situation than our own as someone (non-muzz) I work with who lived there has explained. The government has been leaning more and more toward the muzz lately (due to Edrogen's slant) but the military is firmly secular and enforces that strictly. Since the government just announced that they will be embarking on a serious ground campaign against IS, (as they did against al qaeda) the military probably wants to ensure that their social networks are not used as a strategic weapon by Islamists. Besides having a personal beef, Edrogen also has to go along with restrictions or risk butting heads with TAS without the support of which he is impotent. Turkey for all of her flaws, has been a steadfast ally of U.S. foreign policy especially in reining in the muzz terrorsts. Do some research or talk to somoene who lives there to understand before yammering. Some foreign policy equations do not translate into U.S. left-right context.

Here's the problem: Some people who have fulsome effluvium are unaware of it and so when informed of it, believe that they are being lied to. A quality of human sense of smell is that any persistent strong odor is cancelled out by the brain after a few minutes. As an example of this which happens to most people; you forget to take out the garbage in the morning before going to work, come home after a long day, walk into the house and smell it in the entire house. Then before you take it out, you get a phone call, have to change, bring in the groceries, do other vital chores which can't wait and an hour goes by - you don't notice the smell any more. You wife comes home, walks in the house and smells it immediately, demands that you take out the garbage NOW! Another example is you cook something stinky like cabbage, Brussels sprouts, boil eggs but don't really notice any strong odor, then you go outside to water the yard, come back inside after 15 minutes and the smell is overpowering. That is how the brain works ( thought to be from evolutionary development). So anyone who stinks will after a short time be unable to smell themselves. So when you tell them about it, they assume that you are a liar and if you are a different race, they assume that you are a racist liar. People grow up deeply ignorant because public schools don't teach useful information, they are too busy indoctrinating people in leftist BS.

hah hah very funny. One summer, I worked with a Latino guy who admitted that he didn't use deodorant after showering. Naturally he started to stink almost immediately when he did physical labor (carpet cleaning) but because you can't smell your own strong BO after a few minutes, he assumed everyone was lying to him because they were mean, racist or insane, and continued to refuse to use deodorant. I quit after a couple of weeks because it was temp job for a friend's company. As far as I know the smelly guy never changed. Showering often is useless unless you use deodorant after.

Most self-described "scientists" who claim that they believe in AGW belong to the latter group. Most leftists who say that they believe in AGW are from the former. It has been my experience that most AGW proponents who are not people with technical degrees, or hard science professionals who actually know that AGW is nonsense, are fanatical leftists who merely repeat opinion they have acquired second hand because they have no grasp of geophysics, climatology nor even in most cases, elementary science. Nice post. Feature films are not an optimal vehicle for serious fiction. For an inspiring positive vision of how we might save the world using mostly non-political solutions you might enjoy reading R. Buckminster Fuller's "Critical Path"( but ignore his own niave AGW theories circa 1980) Also SF author Ursula K. Le Guin has some interesting ideas of how world govenment might evolve into something useful if given a chance in several of her Ecumen novels (Left Hand of Darkness, The Word for World is Forest, The Wind's Twelve Quarters). LeGuin imagined a non-monetary world much like Roddenberry where real wealth is the basis for a credit system and people only work because they are the best at what they do or because they have special career interests they are pursuing - not just to survive.

Most people don't realise how thin the veneer of civilzation really is...whispy thin over hard unforgiving rock, freezing tundra, savage deserts, vermin and predator-infested jungles/forests/plainswith natural violence of the most extreme variety. Humans are social animals with soft fleshy bodies and no natural defenses without technology. Knocking us off the top of the food chain would be no big deal for Mother Nature. But eradicating life on Earth is utterly and completely impossible.
