Also security risk it can potentially create for whitehouse.gov. I'm sure nobody wants to look bad because a mailing list or mass text messenger service caused an exploit. So it think the process to create and integrate these features with whitehouse.gov will be a slow and costly process. But on the flipside the white house does have plenty of money (i.e. bailout) so they could use a private contractor's 3rd party solution. There are plenty mailing list and text messaging companies out there.

Re: Robert Johnson scolds Alfred Liggins for FCC Complaint

While I hate to see our people argue in public and I hate to agree with Bob Johnson, he is absolutely right. These people use say stuff like black people don't buy XYZ or they are marketing to the general public or whatever. Yet our products and services are called niche marketing as if what's good for Black in America is not good for America. Rap music and hip hop culture examples of what they (read: mainstream business) racistly (is that a word!) were against but if you look at products and services rap music and hip hop culture brought to the America and the World you will see what's good for Black America is good for the America. It's too bad to that the opposite doesn't always apply.

Re: CyberSynchs: Your Wireless Phone Finally Went Wireless

That's a pretty cool service right there. As one blog said this project is so 1990ish. Us in technology have to do better! While minimalist, lightweight apps are the growing trend what do we do make a bloated, ugly browser with way too much going on. As one poster said the brothers should of made a Black plugin for firefox rather than folk Firefox and mess it up. I don’t think I’ve seen a black (in color) browser ever! Why would you make a browser black? All that different stuff going on at the top just looks like IE6 infected with spam and adware. Overall these people didn’t put anything thought in design or trending and their browser reflects that. I wish Black folks stop building Black products that sucks and then except them to sale just because they are Black. Build a quality product first then Black folks will support you. Let’s have some pride!

We must reinforce argument with results. – Booker T. Washington

Now if you are the creators of this project and you are reading my comment about it shoot me an email or two and I’ll take my time with suggestions to help this project because I know if you are not part of the solution than you are part of the problem. kamaubandele [at] yahoo.com

Re: Bob Johnson’s Newest Venture: Urban Television with an Interactive Twist

I think this is a good business model if it can last but in respect to all the tommin' Mr. Johnson did for Clinton I have a feeling the highest bidders for programs on his station will be no different than the programs on BET. Unless people like Bill Cosby, Oprah, Danny Glover, Denzel Washington, Spike Lee, Harry Belafonte, Black Family Channel producers, and etc sign on and help with the programming. Though that's unlikely. With this biz model the producers will have a very large say so and we have remember it is young white middle class Americans who determine, through financial support, what "urban" programming is successful and what is not successful.

Re: Tarpipe Tries to Automate Sharing

Pretty cool.
