If you're using OF I have lots of tips and tricks I've come up with. One of the main things being to glance at your lists and flag everything you want to accomplish in one day and only look at THAT list. However for true 'where am I going with all this' stuff I use a mindmap - do it once every few months from scratch to find out what's important. Lots of repeating, but amazing what falls away! The other thing with using OF (and gtd generally) which I'm sure you probably do is to let things 'go away'. If I find something keeps popping up again and I haven't done it, it probably isn't that important and gets thrown into someday/maybe.

Another interesting perspective for a mental kick up the brain is the four quadrants thing. Helps with the 'what should I do know' problem.

That code is already there, I just checked

however

footer.php is actually the footer at the bottom of the whole page, not the content footer

I have comments.php which seems to be the comments footer which appears at the bottom of each front page post - however, it has no body tags and is pure php and is referring entirely to the old comments system

Yes you can imagine it. But they didn't. I'm not saying you couldn't. I'm saying they haven't.

I'm talking about focus. Focus shifts past a certain point to the rear end. 'The catalogue'.

The internet is a minefield. You still need small but perfectly formed and focused team to really promote anything properly. And they better know where to aim. The internet is a better diffuser than it is a distiller.

I still don't understand your answer - that code is already there

All I want is a 'leave comment' link at the bottom of every front page post. Currently I have all the tags as usual, time of post etc but no link to the Discuss comment - unless people click on the post header they can't leave a comment
