Well I was slightly more optimistic about this comment than the others I've received until I read not only your misused, though caught "there" (and kudos for that) and the uncaught:

"Like I said, I completely understand what you're say."

I am glad, however that someone finally responded somewhat intelligibly, without use of LOL's or UR's. In spite of this I still cannot get on the Vampire and even more so the "Twilight" bandwagon. I'm not saying you shouldn't enjoy it. Go right ahead but at least acknowledge what it is - Brain rotting, fluffy entertainment for tweens and fat, Midwestern housewives that would love nothing more than to have some beefy lothario rape their neck because the reality of their lives is so soul crushingly horrible that they would rather escape in a piece of mediocre fiction than face the poor choices they've made in life. Please don't try to elevate it to a level to which it does not belong.

If your comment had been, "Sorry you are very wrong. Vampires are the best." I'd feel inclined to reply but sadly I don't reply to illiterates. "UR" is neither cute, nor is it a proper argument.

Yes I saw "Let the Right One In." It was ok but generally underwhelming. To be honest I actually went in to it with high expectations. Finally, a Vampire movie that wouldn't make me want to drive a stake through my own heart! While better than most Vampire movies I don't think it deserves the accolades it's received. I think the problem is that in a world where most Vampire adaptations are awful, when you finally come across one that is just ok, it seems to be amazing. Admittedly the end of the movie was cool and I liked the slow, deliberate pacing, but I found that the characters - especially the little boy - could have been further developed. The story is about childhood and the loneliness that is many times involved. While touched upon in the film, the theme is never fully developed. Instead it falls back into trying to remind us that the girl is, in fact a vampire and needs to feed on blood and blah, blah, blah. I wish this comment had been made months ago when I had seen the film so it was more fresh in my mind but from what I recall I would have given the movie a C+. Not great. Just ok. And Vampires still suck balls.

I'm afraid this is not a matter of opinion. There are clear definitions of right and wrong. Sometimes things are right (i.e. not running people over with your car) and sometimes thing are wrong (i.e. the holocaust, or Hitler in general). The essay above lays out my argument quite clearly. I have a thesis - Vampires suck. I have evidence - They can be killed by wood, they can be killed by sunlight, they look like Tom Cruise. And I have a concluding statement - Vampires therefore are lame. What troubles me most about your comment however is that you do not see that Vampires do in fact literally suck. They suck necks, they suck blood, and they also suck big sweaty balls. If you would like to offer a counter argument not based solely on your own opinion I would be glad to take it into consideration. Until then, might I suggest you watch this video as further proof that Vampires are lame:

"Lost Together" by Canada's own Blue Rodeo. It's a little folksy but it's a really great song. Also there's, "Such Great Heights" by The Postal Service and the classic "At Last" by Elle Fitzgerald. Personally I've always been fond of "Let my Love Open the Door" by Pete Townsend.

Thank you for your feedback Bitch Hater. I find your eloquence and opinion on the matter highly enlightening. You're right though. Someone with as inane an understanding of basic politics as myself really shouldn't partake in the electoral process. Instead on November 4th I think I'll bake a pie, have sex with my man through a hole in a sheet (let's face it, that's all I'm really made for anyway) then drive around in my 4x4 pick-up and run over a family of polar bears because THAT is truly American.
