Any pain or bleeding will only make the situation worse if you don't re-latch the baby on making sure he covers all of the areola iwith his mouth.

Re: Breastfeeding Tips for New Moms

I have a baby who is turning 8 weeks. I have always been determined to feed my baby breastmilk but i have had a few problems; nipple bleeds and also an infection which i had to discontinue breastfeeding but started expressing with an automatic pump. I have now healed and lately have latched baby back on which was no trouble at all. The only major problem is that baby will be latched on for over an hour but will still be very hungry afterwards. It seems like i'm not producing enough milk. Can someone please help, i am desperate.
