My insurance free clinic already offers the blood work whole sale (less than $10 total) but it does require a venipuncture. However, bc I don't work w insurance, we test whenever we want.

Want to make meaning of it? Make an EMR that truly works for docs and patients. ie mint financial software meets your doctor

Hi, thanks for checking out my practice's website. Its going great actually in large part because people are really ready for a free market solution to healthcare. We offer whole sale prices on medications and lab for pennies on the dollar which often saves patients more than their membership costs. Check out the national society's site at www.aapp.org to find a concierge doctor near you.

Agreed Thuc. A good or bad doctor can cone from anywhere. Once you get into residency it won't matter bc after that you prove yourself on the floors.

Hey Clark,Congratulations on almost being done and on seeing the value of
new practice models. Jay Parkinson is the man to watch b/c he's a bulldozer
when it comes to change. The nat'l organization is www.simpd.org and is a
great resource.

I'm right in the middle of starting my practice now complete w/ lawyers,
accountants, landlords and marketing people. Whew! But my friend Michael
is days from opening his practice which we built largely together. Check
out his site www.exclusive-md.com and www.exclusive-md.blogspot.com . This
is a concierge or retainer style model. For a cheaper fee for service model
check out www.simplecare.com or www.qliance.com.

These are all different from Gordon Moore's ideal micropractice model which
continues to deal with insurance and medicare/caid.

Hello,
thanks for the email. I'm about 11 months from finishing residency and
13 months from starting my practice. I'm just in the beginjng stages
of working with my lawyer, accountant, realtor, and marketing firm.
But it's all very exciting.

I've followed you for years, from the time I was a medical student, and have dreamt of my own ideal, insurance free, cash practice. It has been inspiring to see the rapid growth in insurance-free medical practices over the years from micropractices, to simplecare.com and simpd.com. The true rock-star power that Jay has brought to the industry will catapult free-market based medicine from an infrequent niche to a mainstream product. I've seen a number of third-party free doctors and they are some of the happiest ever. Physicians like Jay and yourself will be what revitalizes the dying specialty that is primary care.

what would you do if they forced all doctors to take CMS and assigned you your panel of 2k baby boomers...
