The man has the balls to yell at the President during a nationally televised formal address, while at the same time having mis-managed his own finances into oblivion.

Re: Conan's new stage looks like Super Mario

Congrats for actually getting noticed for something you wrote on the internet! For serious though, congrats. If this happened to me I would be pretty happy.

Re: What's it to you ehh? - Why does it always end the same

I totally understand dude...maybe more than a lot of people would (maybe not). It's so easy to get frustrated and let it effect you and take away from "what really matters" like you said...which is something I spend a lot of my days having lost sight of...especially days where I've felt down about things or impatient (which I do a lot) or felt as if things are just patently unfair.

I don't read my Bible nearly enough. But when I do I always end up in that part of Matthew. The last part of the 6th chapter is especially meaningful to me.

Re: i am daniel. - we’re gathered here in… drunk?

It's called "Lean On Sheena" on their 2005 album The Gold Record. I think you'd like the album.

Re: What's it to you ehh? - i like this

It's pretty rad.

Re: i am daniel. - I am not saying this because I am in need, for I...

Paul is a pretty good model to follow as far as dealing with tough situations goes.

Re: What's it to you ehh? - ACL CAN SUCK IT

My bike is busted and I pretty much just walk everywhere or use my car for longer trips. I'm definitely a liberal who values environmental issues but if you have an efficient car (mine gets 40 MPG) and you consider that the time you save could be worth something too, then I don't think you can feel too guilty about it. Many of my friends here in San Marcos ride bikes (even the dreaded hipster-intensive "fixed gear" bike) but I can at least defend them by saying that most of them are fairly non-pretentious as "fixies" go and their bikes are such a big part of their lives that they can't help but be seen with them. Although, I also know that when you get into the city that level of pretension increases considerably. It's hard to be pretentious in San Marcos, and it's hard not to be a lot of the time in Austin (I've experienced both).

Peace,

- Jordan
