Why can't South philly have a place that encourages and preserves the record of talented people who were born here or maybe a grand organization of "The South Philadelphia Entertainment Achievement Awards"....now that would be a very sunny "south" Philadelphia.

Re: Mob scene - South Philly Review

The talents of a huge generation of South Philadelphians continues to thrive even at age 78. Was it the "water" the "air" or was it a once in a lifetime generation of children from hard working immigrants with AMERICAN IDEALs! I was also proud to here the South Philadelphia High School was named. Gibby good luck...and I hope you can be part of the casting call.

Re: BINdependence Day - philadelphia weekly online

It is unrealistic to think that the average Philadelphia citizen can possible both learn and understand the art of trash handling. Trash is trash is what prevails in everyone's mind. The art of how do I separate it, how do I store it until trash day, how do I separate haz materials that need to be dropped off! Frustration has to extremely high as some one would need to pay the citizen to both learn and undertand what to do and be willing to commit the time and effort to do it. LIfe just got harder and no one recongizes that in the process...as that would help!
