I want a free market republican in the white house too. Too bad it's not gonna happen.

America has been tured into home of the taxed and land of the extremes. You have to be extreme to win the white house.
Not moderate. And that is what we need right now. Some good moderation by the man in the big seat, with all the morons we elect every few years to congress.

Ok since you are a real republican I will respond in kind.

I agree wih you here:

Fear Mongering is wrong. Gerorge did it, now Obama.
Obama believes deep down that he is doing the right thing. Who is leading his thoughts is beyond me. I think it 's really him, but it could be somebody else.

Spending outta control isn't the way to go, giving huge companies money "who are too big to fail" isn't the way to go, letting them fall isn't the way to go..... etc. etc.

There is so much to consider, and when you look at 1929 and how bad it was then, and what wasn't done to prevent it, kinda makes you not worry about the money we are spending.

Did you know that 71 congress-people can't get a credit card because of bad credit.
Did you know 117 or so bad congress-people bankrupted businesses in the last two years.

These are the people running our country into the ground as they take money from lobbists.

That's my real problem.

I am a conservative, but when the RNC puts up monkey's for election, that's where I draw the line.

Conservatives are scared of change, that's why we bought into George's crap-sell on terrorism. And it's why liberals are pushing for something to get done.

Being scared of change isn't something we have a choice about, it's science.

Right now we are not in a depression.
Obama is trying to avert a depression.

Take a look at who the administration was before the depression and your "numbers" you post above. What put us in the depression is of significance. Not what happened during the depression.

I don't know what you think about this but let me lay this on you:

During the last 8 years of the most unresponsible "conservative" administration in history, I was told by real conservatives: we eleceted him president, you gotta stand by him no matter what.

So I sat for 8 years whilst the Bush Empire spent it all. Now I say this to conservatives:

The country elected him, now you have to live with it. This is a Democracy, so talk all you want and if you don't like it, you can run for president in 4 years.

I am very exceited to see blogs like this in the Record Eagle "Blog". I understand the Eagle's need to have "Feel Good Blogs" in here. But content like this blog demonstrates is what i like to read and respond to.
