Sorry this is not my bank, got one closer to my house; but I have to compliment the Virginia Street Bank in Fort Pierce for their building. It attracted me the first time I saw the yellow paint job with green shutters. Over the years I continued to admire the beautiful, clean, happy looking building. It is one of those Florida sights you take for granted but it continues to make you smile when I see it.

Recently I realized that who ever painted that building knew what they were doing. All paint fades in our sun but this yellow didn't turn that sad shade of brown or orange gold, it faded to a whiter and whiter yellow. Continued to look clean and nice. So I decided I wanted that color on my house.

I''ve talked to others who like yellow houses but hate their 'faded color' and many have agreed this is a great building. So if so many people like it why can't I find out what color it is? I've called a lot of local paint stores and they know what I'm talking about but have no idea what yellow fades to a white and not that sick color. Now I'm trying to find someone in the Bank that can tell me. They are my last hope and maybe someone has it in their records.

Cross your fingers for me, I'm determined! I'm afraid that the mechanical, digital or computerized paint mixers have lost us the store employee who knew all about paint. We really messed up when we didn't value the trained staff with their vast knowledge.
