Man, Steve makes this plastic bag of a jacket look good, but I had a chance to try it on and boy does this jacket disappoint.

Fits way too small, so think of 1.5 sizes up (yes I know there's not a half size, so chances are, it'll be too small for you regardless). The sleeves are so tight I could barely get my hand through it; no joke. The material is a little better than Tyvek envelope material; no flex, no motion, seems like it might tear at any moment as I force my apparently giant hand through it.
I really wanted this to be well done, but yeah it just sucks for $200.

I don't think they are impersonal and yes they are very practical but there are lots of failings:

* If trying to make plans or whatever and it goes over say 5 back and forths? Time to pick up the damn phone and call, it's faster. I don't want to sit around typing on my crappy keyboard/touchscreen phone for that long.

* WTF is up with someone who txts you and you call and then they don't pick up lame.

* a lot of people treat txts like email and don't answer right away and then people write to Livejournal about how Bobby didn't text them back right away. Maybe they were driving, biking, in the shower, sleeping or you know, paying attention to someone else? If I don't hear back in a day (unless traveling or something) then I might think they passive-aggressively don't like me, but other than that, it's cool.

All in all it really breaks down to how people prefer to communicate. If you're involved with someone who doesn't like to text and you call them a dinosaur and constantly make fun of them and send them texts..? Get ready to write your sob story to livejournal. Communications is, get this, a two way street. Zing!

You really need to come to Portland. Happy hours are awesome here and all bars serve food, BY LAW, so you can late night specials and shit. Bamboo sushi here is MORE sustainable and will blow your mind. Shit is cheaper and we have no sales tax and really good donuts.

eh, I dunno. I mean I respect your resoluteness, but it is the first few steps of dating here and you probably caught him off guard by being so bluntly honest. I only say this, because I've made the same mistakes.

And to give you a man's opinion or just the other person trying to date YOU, you have to realize that to him you are a girl that he likes, is attracted to, but DOES NOT KNOW, so the act of bailing on his friend calls this into question (though, maybe he shouldn't have asked you out anyway until he was sure...). It's not perfect of course, but just some insight here...

but, you said you aren't really that attracted to him anyway so there's that. done and done!

1) I fucked up on the schedule and will be missing Little Dragon, so please take some pics for me and write a review.

2) those dudes are boring town, esp. that lawyer, gross.

3) try eating more spelt and rice pastas. Also cook at home... it'll improve the gut bomb and sleepy feelings... also replace starch of the foods (potatoes or rice or whatever) which delicious black beans! yums!

This guy is pretty hip. I like his boots and jeans and shades. But he can't really get the top part of his shit together. Too many layers and that rain coat makes him look frumpy and unorganized. He hasn't paid his iPhone bill in months and runs it off wifi only and the hat covers up his bald spot and gets in the way when he wants to put up the hood of that frumpy coat.
