They did remaster it. It includes all four games and some additional content.

I wish they’d refine it instead of reinventing the wheel. Combat and dungeons were always samey (especially across 4 games!); work on fixing that, not changing everything else

Yeah I feel the same! They could, and did, tighten up the tedious elements of the cave and such, and make things less obtuse. But I think they did even more than that. And added a battle apparently, which I think kind of breaks the whole motif of the place being free of monsters. I don’t think it’s quite as streamlined as the 3DS tho, which I also (bought but) didn’t play. It’s a good compromise, at least from what I have to go on.
