I could really use some help - my husband, 25yrs ago ex, returned to "take care of" me in wake of DV, 2 hired acquaintances and 2 business partners have left me physically broken to a not-yet-fully-confronted extent, still psychologically resilient, but with continued hack attacks, libel, car disabling, and most of the structural supports removed from my house.
Seriously.
Walls cut into, beams severed, corners and joists dismembered and helt in place with putty, overhangs tacked in place with old rotted 2x2s.
Discovery docs in the divorce require details of my domestic circumstances. There's not yet been any help from any agency so mandated: this is, accdg to the detective on the aggravated rape [7hr agg assault, 1hr rape, and it is effectively downgraded. to rape. down graded.Not one of 4 cops in my house overnight saw the blood or bile or chiopped up 4" 110yr old doorframes, or the steel yoke in the living room, or collected the GHB conserved in situ, or *bothered asking if I kept personal firearms*/owned a gun/carried a pistol/etc 32 variations they ask every time they respond to a call.
Just a target of a narcissist who's kept my right hand, foot, and knee mangled for 4 years going, plus the one who got me conditioned to it when I was just a child [14 to his 24], and the dopey also-ran I had one date with circa '85, stalker for hire. Plus some creepy failed entrepreneurs. Clearly consensual, totally the sort of thing a 38 yr old artist and novelist who refuses advances desipte sexless marriage, hence no evidence to support the assertion of sluttery...
This all makes sense, if I consider it through this lens: the detective who refuses prosecution says the one I saw raping me [again: drugged. paralysed, etc.] is "clearly in love with me and must feel terrible that I am hurt. Try to be a better listener: let him talk, let him feel heard. You might be surprised at what he has to say."
This is a man who failed Deviant Behavior 101.
This is a sympathetic misogynistic waylayer of prosecution rates: he's got all the power.
This is a narcissist.

Sorry for the rant. But I feel a little better knowing someone knows, and a lot better if someone else takes my word and skedaddles before it gets this horrific for them.
