Favorite lipstick story? Would have to be about my first red lipstick! On a whim I picked up a nice cranberry red lippy from the drugstore to try out & see if I was able to pull it off. When I was younger, I always wanted to wear red lipstick but was too shy & scared to try it out. I'm so glad I did, though! A nice bold red lip has been my go-to look ever since. I love it!

My goodness is he adorable. And he actually keeps his eyes open for pictures! Color me jealous! Zach almost always has his eyes closed!

Speaking of Zachary...guess what I learned by looking at some old Q&A questions? James used to have a cat named Zachary, but sadly he passed away in 2000. I just found it amusing that I named my cat after his cat without even knowing it.

I was just going to comment on the pictures of this that you had posted earlier and ask to see a different angle :P

I actually kind of like it! It's got both an outer space-like quality and a molecular-like quality to it. And the colors aren't the traditional hues of the primary colors, which I like. :) I think it came out nice! I'd like to see more. Better post pictures of everything you make!

Haha I forgot where I was going with that last comment and submitted it without saying what I wanted to...

Congratulations on learning how to stretch a canvas! ^-^ It's like a rite of passage or something lol. How did your prof. teach you how to do it? Did he/she use those clamp thingers? I think they're more trouble than they're worth. BUT! I do find using a staple gun to be quite enjoyable and freeing! Hehe. I actually just bought my own last semester. Just owning one makes me feel like I know what I'm doing lol.

I didn't know that you hadn't stretched a canvas yet! It's a pain in the thumbs! It definitely gets easier with time though. Just hope that one of your teachers doesn't assign you a huge ass painting that needs to be bigger than your body. I had told myself, "I'm not going to put myself through the hell of stretching a canvas that's bigger than me!" but it's way cheaper to do it yourself (Just like anything else in the art world. Make ANY sort of supplies yourself and it's always cheaper). Now stretching a 6 foot canvas? That's a bitch @.@ And at that point you gotta install support beams and all that jazz...ugh I have to do that this week. T-T

Yay! You got to watch too? My teacher let us out so we could see it.

Unfortunately, our TV isn't hooked up so I had to watch it via the internet at every now and then the video would jerk off all over my face and I'd miss a bit of what he said. Luckily, my mom recorded it so I'll just watch his speech over again when I get home this weekend. :)
