I worked for the Clinton administration. They sold themselves out on everything just to win more elections. It wasn't a pivot, it was a betrayal. The ensuing of a Corporate controlled democracy is the result and the trumpers and warmongers moved in. Obama was a breath of fresh air, but few hard challenges to the Corporate overlords were attempted.

I am a former Director of the BLM. This rancher is trespassing on land owned by all Americans. Not by him. He is an extremist and should not be allowed on the property any longer.

I think this should apply to all oil companies as well since they also get subsidies from the state. All CEOs, administrative, and oil field workers would be needed to show up for testing.

This might actually be a good thing in the long run. Right now there is little accountability since no one actually knows who their Commissioner is. They are diffuse and invisible. If the Governor were to appoint some one to carry out the function then the Governor, who just about everyone would be familiar with, could be held accountable.

BLM in New Mexico needs much more scrutiny from Washington. Maybe some ethics training for all state and district directors is in order.
