"We're watching, not fighting," he tells Admiral Reigart, who thinks Burnett hasn't really learned what it means to be a soldier. During a routine reconnaissance mission, Burnett photographs something no one was meant to see and is shot down. Trapped behind enemy lines, Burnett struggles to survive the relentless pursuit of a ruthless secret police enforcer, a deadly tracker and countless hostile troops. With time running out, Reigart makes the wrenching decision to set aside the rules of the tightly-controlled world in which he operates and risk his career to launch a renegade rescue mission to save the life of one solider.
Also Known As: En territoire ennemi
Production Status: Released
Logline: Two downed US pilots who have evidence of Serbian atrocities, must escape from the Serbian military.
Genres: Action/Adventure, Drama, Thriller and War
Running Time: 1 hr. 46 min.
Release Date: November 30, 2001 Nationwide
MPAA Rating: PG-13 for war violence and some language.
Distributors: 20th Century Fox Distribution
Production Co.: Davis Entertainment
Studios: 20th Century Fox
U.S. Box Office: $58,855,732
Filming Locations:
Bratislava, Slovakia
Bratislava, Slovakia (Koliba Studios)
Produced in: United States

Re: Monday Night Mayhem - ClickTheCity.com TV Guide

Movie Description:
Roone Arledge (John Heard) had a crazy, costly idea in the early 1970s to bring pro football to the ABC network by airing it on Monday nights. The project required a big production with more camera angles and even a broadcasting team of three in the booth. The trio turned out to be "Dandy" Don Meredith (Brad Beyer), Frank Gifford (Kevin Anderson), and the brash Brooklynite Howard Cosell (John Turturro). Cosell's outspoken demeanor and intellectual edge on his ex-athlete partners built rivalries causing all parties to feel a lack of respect. Add to this mess, a gambling addicted director in Chet Forte (Nicholas Turturro) and scandals revolving everything from racial slurs to alcoholic miscues and it is amazing that such a show could steer clear of failure. On the contrary, MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL completely changed sports broadcasting. This TNT film dramatizes all the madness.

Cosell is the focus of the production, portrayed by Tuturro as a misunderstood intellectual who yearned to excel outside of sportscasting, a field dominated by dim bulb jocks. Ernest Dickerson (BONES) brings a knowledge of the game and a feel for the period to his direction.
