They should be happy that taxpayers willingly decide to pay them anything with that kind of work ethic. Besides that, if you can't live off of $30,000/year you are a greedy thug who is setting a bad example for the very kids you claim to "educate."

Insane Fox News ramblings aside, Tracy Byrnes' claim that $250,000/year is borderline poverty level may be one of the most ridiculous things ever broadcast via television frequencies. That's no small accusation when you're talking about a medium that is responsible for The Steve Wilkos Show.

The two of you are hilarious. You need some sort of point/counterpoint television series where you generally disagree about literally everything in front of a live studio audience.

Also, I thought you had retired from The Fold due to its lack of truthiness, Paranoia. In fact, I distinctly remember this quote:

What happened to doing something that will "actually help some people and make a difference, unlike writing a blog?"

I guess the "local Salvation Army" and "community college near me" had a surplus of volunteers and couldn't make room for just one more. I must say, I'm happy to hear that.

Also, because you're still freedom fighting around these parts, I'll ask why changing one letter of your first name, say from "Ayn" to "Ann," doesn't count as using a fake name?

If I filed my upcoming taxes as "Mason Barr" instead of "Jason" I highly doubt the IRS would say, "whatever, close enough."

As for Chris "stretching things to prove his point," maybe we are interpreting his point differently. To me, the purpose of this particular post was to show how, regardless of Rand's ideology, her use of the Medicare program is not only acceptable, but also a great example of how the program is meant to be used.

I'm just reaching here but, to you, his point seems to be that all republican ideas and beliefs about the Medicare program (and life in general) are now void due to Rand's partaking in the program.

The important thing to keep in mind is that not everyone is out to get you at all times. Sometimes statements, even those which come from different sides of the political aisle, can be well-said and in good logic.

Until you at least admit that you didn't even take the time to read this original post, I'll refer to you as "Paranoia" rather than "Sanity."

Which part of, "That's not hypocrisy of the system like so many Rand supporters are defending. It is the system." accuses Ayn of hypocrisy? Did you read the post or simply regurgitate a partisan rebuttal based upon the headline?

Your incessant worrying about the beloved author being labeled a "hypocrite" may be warranted elsewhere, but in this particular post, the accusation simply doesn't exist.

As a result, you end up coming off like a nervous child who accidentally broke something and runs to tell his/her parents they didn't break said thing before anyone even accuses them of having broken it.

Calm down, Sanity. All is well.

I will agree that Gans' film did a solid job of recreating the atmosphere SH is known for. That said, it's yet to really grow on me over the years. The narrative becomes such a mess in the final act that it just loses me.

When it comes to 3D, I'm in a perpetual state of skepticism . That said, I'm with you in hoping Revelation is a pleasant surprise.

I love Boy Meets World's ability to poke fun at itself. That's one of the things that still sets it apart from many sitcoms, especially ones of its time. I believe the explanation was something along the lines of Morgan receiving the "longest grounding ever."

As far as Roseanne goes, I'm not sure I ever made it past the opening credit theme. I do remember, though, Family Matters introducing a new Harriet late in the show's run. Very disappointing (and creepy) to say the least.
