"Baby! baby!" yelled my one-and-a-half-year-old son, crawling on the dirty sidewalk.

"I don't see any babies," I replied. I stayed standing, half paying attention to him and half paying attention to my smart phone.

Then my son made baby sign language sign for "spider." He repeated: "Baby! Baby!"

Finally I put my phone away and stooped to his level.

The sidewalk was swarming with ants. My son called them "baby" because he didn't have enough words to explain what he had found on the ground. But he knew what the spider looks like. And he knew how to say "baby."

He wanted to tell me something and I almost missed the whole message. I'm glad I finally got it. Now I always look down when I'm walking with my son.

That's great. Reading is totally a habit. I didn't realize it until I had a daughter of my own, but I would have never grown up to be an avid reader unless my parents had read books to me over and over again as a little kid.

Hi, They all worked on my computer (I am using a Mac). I just highlight the file in my downloads folder and click "Open With." It gives me the option to open the template in Scrivener after that.

What kind of computer are you using? I can post more detailed instructions tomorrow...

books, we use this method every Monday afternoon.

For the Amazon list, we found the highest ranked self-published
bestsellers in Amazon’s Top 100 Paid Kindle Books list. For the Barnes
& Noble list, we highlighted the bestselling PubIt! eBooks from
self-published authors. Finally, the Smashwords list was drawn from
the bestselling titles in the company’s fiction list.
