The United States was designed to be a Constitutional Republic, not a democracy....Somewhere along the line the government changed that concept and the people sat idly by while it happened....
A republic is designed to protect the minority from the majority.... That's a good thing....
Remember Benjamen Franklin's response, when asked by a woman, as he left Independence Hall at the close of the Constitutional Convention," What have you given us, Sir?", Franklin's response, "A republic madam, if you can keep it."....We failed our founding fathers....
And also remember the now famous quote concerning democracy...."Democracy is no more than two wolves and a sheep deciding on what's for dinner.".....

In Sotomayor, we have a nominee who's most notable accomplishment is "saving" baseball 15 years ago....She is most known for sexist and racist rulings and opinions, such as the case with the New Haven fire fighters....Her rulings have been overturned, at least, 60% of the time...."Judge" Sotomayor actually thinks that appellate courts make policy....

Yes, we'll certainly be revisiting this issue in the future....Hopefully, I WILL be the one that's wrong....Because if I'm right then that means Achmed or Jong has met us with missiles instead of cake and ice cream, which is what you liberal myrmidons think is going to happen...
.My friend, I put them all(Mancow, Hannity, Limbaugh, Boortz, Beck, Madow, Amy Goodman, Stewart, Michael Moore, etc.) in the same category....ENTERTAINMENT....Folks seem to think these people are anything other than that....And fact of the matter is that I listen to and watch most of them just to see what they'll pull out of their rear ends next.....I read numerous websites, and then form my opinion....
And again you show the fact that your uneducated.....How many rocket launches did North Korea and Iran make during the Bush era???? Both nations have been working toward the goal of having nuclear weapons for at least 30 years....It's just been in the past year that the programs have made strides....
Blaming Bush isn't getting you socialist dweebs anywhere now....Obama has the baton today, the problem of rogue nations and how he handles them sit squarely on his shoulders....

And he keeps referencing WWII and Korea....Our troops weren't considered Prisoners of War by any foreign government, they were considered criminals....So any treaties and resolutions were ignored....and our troops were tortured, tried and executed as a result....
Al-Qaeda, Hezbollah, Hamas, etc. are not recognized Armies by any international treaties, so therefore their "soldiers" are not protected by and treaties or resolutions....
