Bible pep talks.

Re: How To Rewire Your Brain for Positivity and Happiness

This is brilliant! I am a psychotherapist and have taught these principles to my clients over the years, but this article expands my understanding. I will share it with my clients!

Re: Why its important to do your breast self-exams

My beautiful friend, I love this article. Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge about a life saving topic.
Jamie

Re: Should We Be Doing Breast Self-Examinations?

Hi Nikole
Sorry i didn't see your comment until just now! I can understand the reluctance to do BSE if you feel you need a medical degree to diagnose cancer. Try to think differently about it: the goal is to know your breasts so well that if something changes, you notice immediately. We don't need to know the difference between cancer and cysts--we just need to know the difference between normal and abnormal for our own breasts. Like i said, "Know your breasts like the back of your hands."

Re: Should We Be Doing Breast Self-Examinations?

We are survivor sisters, for which I am sad and glad: kind of a cockeyed thing to say, but I emphasize the survivor part! I know many doctors continue to do clinical exams and recommend BSE to their patients. Hats off to you and your doc!

Re: Should We Be Doing Breast Self-Examinations?

Good for you, Laura. I agree with your "better safe than sorry" attitude. Too many people regress into trusting children with doctors instead of taking charge of their bodies. That's a great philosophy for more than cancer prevention.

Re: Should We Be Doing Breast Self-Examinations?

Laurie, you and@sakisaki6 have the right idea about making BSE as routine as flossing our teeth and shaving our legs. I think my new motto will be "Know your breasts like the back of your hands!"

Re: Should We Be Doing Breast Self-Examinations?

Thanks for the celebration of my victory over cancer. Educating and equipping women like you adds to the joy! I do hope you will make it part of your health regime to know your breasts "like the back of your hand."

Re: KFC Doubles Down on Calories

Does KFC have relatives in Providence, Rhode Island, and Omaha, Nebraska they want DEAD???

Re: Firefox 4: Removing the Parts We No Longer Need

Looks sexy to me!
