Funny timing. Just tweeted about this myself. Building things well takes time to think about it. Creating a lot of relationships is easy. Establishing relationships with depth takes time and focus.

We have so man inputs these days, so many channels to monitor. I've finally admitted I can't keep up with all of them.

Totally agree. The service that wins this game is the one that enables better experiences for both the user and the site owner and, more importantly, bridges the gap between the separate social networks.

Both the user and the site owner will both need to feel that they are benefitting from this additional layer and are getting/creating better experiences and relationships (both user to user and user to site owner relationships) because of it. In the end, the web won't be about a single social graph. These various networks will be outlets for us to correspond, interact and relate online.

That's the thing, why take the time to do it when you don't have to?

Beyond that though, it's not quite as simple as you might think. We handle all of the referral tracking and inserting the links into the Twitter and Facebook buttons. Then we give you analytics on the backend.

Then there's the other things we do too. Starting this week we're giving you an address book importer and sending out invites by email. Then we have analytics (basic now, but going to be building out a lot of cool things here), integration with RapLeaf so you can better understand your users, sweet Posterous integration and more.
