I'm with you. Justice League fell flat for me. All Star Batman wasn't bad, but I didn't like it as much as his Batman run. I know how you feel about trying to keep up with continuity, but I wouldn't force myself to read it if I didn't like it. Fortunately, most of DC's stuff has been kind of contained since the last relaunch so even big events don't get too far out of their lane. Read what you like. :)

I'll welcome the chance to check out the future volumes. I was asked to review this one on its own as I'm sure fans will as well. As a debut, there are some great elements, but it fell a little short for me.

I'm going to pick that up soon. It was just recommended to me during a podcast interview. I also picked up Life, Cult of Chucky, Split, and Get Out over the past couple weeks. I'm coming back to horror movies and really liking them.

Thanks! I haven't read Vampirella Strikes, but I'm in the same boat. I can't take the character seriously when she's supposed to be fighting monsters wearing a string bikini. Here's hoping it sticks this time around.

There are a few Firefly / Serenity comics published by Dark Horse. Volume 3 is called Shepard's Tale and tells Book's backstory.

We had ants for a couple years that would show up in the Spring in our friggin' dishwasher. I finally got rid of them this year by using some boric acid mixed with sugar placed in a lid from a salsa jar. The hardest part of this was opening the dishwasher and seeing like 8 of them sitting on that thing going to town and not killing them. The idea is that they're attracted to the sugar and take the poison back to the nest and kill everyone they know. It's kind of fucked up when you think of it that way but after a day or two, they were all gone. We still see a random ant here or there but never in the kitchen now. It's like my kitchen is their Hiroshima.

Gah! The name is familiar but I honestly don't remember selling those tapes. I remember trying to sell bootleg copies of subbed Dragon Ball Z episodes and movies as a teenager, thinking it would be a great get rich quick scheme. Then DVDs happened and that went out the window. Ugh, I spent like $300 on a set of subbed episodes. Looking back on that makes me want to cry.

Awesome to hear that there are others out there that still remember CSJ. It was a really fun time and something that I definitely obsessed about, thinking of new things to do to make the game better and keep it fun for everyone.

It could be that nothing on your wishlist has shown up in the database. Alternatively, others could be in front of you on the wishlist for particular DVDs and it just hasn't come to your turn yet.

During the scene with the spiritualist, she sees visions of the other three DynaKey characters. It confirms that they're all in the same universe, but doesn't have any bearing on the overall story just yet.
