You did well starting with Egyptian, in some months you can start talking, which is not possible with classical or even with other dialects from other countries such as darija, (morocco).

Sure, Unype is a very interesting project, but not a virtual world in the sense that the avatar movements are not real time. Unype is also different from Loopt or other services alike since users are not automatically geolocated. Unype, for me, is more like platial with mapped static avatars.
Again I think Unype is a good initiative, but maybe they don't have the right infrastructure yet. As I said in my previous comment, although technology is not everything all social virtual worlds (mobile or not) are struggling to find the right techno that could be scalable at a reasonable cost.

Well I don't know if Loopt is very very innovative, but what I think is that they are perfectly executing their job. In my opinion many other companies serving the same goal than Loopt will emerge; but the big step forward will come from the technology side, because to locate in real time all the users is not so easy. Real time also means real presence. Actually this type of services face the same issues than social virtual worlds: capacity and scalability.
We, at Twinverse, we are trying to build something that looks like a geolocated social virtual world, supported by the right technology. Of course technology is not everything, to do things right is key, and we have to say that loopt is doing it.
