In a few years, when the GOP loses it's filabusterability (assuming they piss off enough constituents and lose more seats in their next elections), then maybe, just maybe, they'll finally figure it out then.

Or not, and Sarah Palin becomes their candidate for the 2012 race (wuhaha).

I'm indifferent when it comes to the "dynasty-effect" since it's inevitable to a certain degree, and like being a POW, should neither be a sole qualifier/disqualifier.

Unless, of course, we're talking about anyone with the last name Bush or Cheney. Then the blood pressure starts rising again.

Minutes are going by like hours right now. I'm at work, and completely unable to focus on anything. I didn't fall asleep until 3AM last night, woke up w/o an alarm @ 7:30AM this morning, voted @ 9AM.

Was expecting there to be a line, but there wasn't one where I voted. Oddly, I was dissapointed that I didn't have to wait in a line (I say oddly, because I'm impatient).

All I know, so far so good, feeling good, getting fired up, it's 72 DEGREES IN MICHIGAN right now (avg. temp in Nov is 46 deg.) - so all I can say is it's a beautiful day!!

Off topic, but noticed a political ad that ran right after "Extreme Makeover, Home Edition" last night.

Theme was "Hate he could believe in" and used Rev. Wright.

Not surprising, nor does anyone even give half a shit. But another not-so-straight-talk express moment. Trying to find the video of the ad I saw, but no luck yet. Looks like other Wright-ads are popping up in other states. Supposedly being put out by "GOP surrogates" but, the fact John McCain is supposed to be the leader of his party right now, these last-minute smear ads prove once again how untrustworthy John McCain is.

Just incredibly annoyed by the fact a U.S. Vice Presidential candidate could really care less about the "lower 48"

Wouldn't be surprised if I heard she never even visited a "lower 48" state until the day she was called-on by the McCain campaign.

In fact, the term "lower 48" is just as annoying. Should be referred to as the "first 48," or something less submissive to the least populated state per sq. foot in the nation.

So if the "not-really-a-terrorist-terrorist" were to bomb a government run facility that conducted abortions, wouldn't bombing American government property be an attack on America?

Oh right, as long as the said facility is located in fake Virginia, then I guess it's more like a "heroic strike against librul enemy combatants."
