While it has been a foregone conclusion for some time that they are out, aren't they still capable of getting to 73 points, ahead of the current #8 Blues at 71. Blues play LAK once so that gives a win to LA but that isn't enough to get to 73. The Jets and Canucks don't get enough points in that scenario to get to 73 for certain. What am I missing?

But are they emboldened by metal music? There wasn't an uptick in Nazi action after the release of Angel of Death. And besides, Norwegian Death Metal practitioners are just as bad.

Considering the fact that Metal will sing about worshiping Satan, I hardly find this out of character. Maybe since Nazis are real and Satan is pretend it makes a difference, however it is still the concept.

And the point about hip hop and it's lack of compassion for women is spot on.

Add the "$5 Bits of Broken Chair Trophy" to lost Minnesota trophies.

As it turns out the Ed Thorp Memorial Trophy was in Green Bay and that's why it's in their Hall of Fame. Another example of WI having a trophy that was last won by a MN team and lost. The was the only time Minnesota won the NFL Championship but then they lost the Super Bowl.

How is your insufferably condescending comment that opinions can't be wrong any different? You are making the rules as you see fit. My opinion is wrong but not yours! Don't you see that?

I certainly understand your point of view. Subjective judgements on intangible aspects such as music quality are nearly impossible to objectify into absolute categories of good and bad. But your pompous absolute statement that opinions cannot be wrong is inaccurate.

Especially your comment "An opinion, by definition, can't be wrong. It is an opinion."

I only challenge your intellect because of your utter disrespect by saying something like that.

They did pretty good with the worst, except Carter.

A lot say Reagan. For all the good that people attribute to him, he did start peace time deficit spending. No Conservative should approve of that. Also, he did deal with terrorists, armed Osama bin Laden, and there is a strong question of his competency in his second term.

Wilson should not be on that list. He was incompetent in his second term, a KKK supporter, and failed to deliver his one key post war remedy, the League of Nations. He only won because of the rift in the Republicans.

James Polk should be on the list. AL 1, GW 2, TR 3, TJ 4.

Very good.

It is like me with alcohol. If I drink, I drink too much. There is no "drink in moderation," or "just stop." Yes, I have stopped but I have never accomplished "social drinking," so in essence by Mr. Rollins manner of thinking, I have failed.

On top of that. his Parkinson's medication may have made his condition worse.

I was a bit flipant and technically incorrect. What happens is the coeffiecient of drag as a function of the Reynolds Number is lowered for the dimpled ball. Turbulent flow, with its better drag characteristics is achieved at a lower Reynolds Number. So what I was saying that a dimpled ball achieves what a smooth ball does at a higher Re. But you are correct, the Re number is not increased.

Erin's post implies that since Bin Laden was funded during the Reagan administration and that since the Bush family and bin Laden family have done business that whatever Clinton did is OK.

You imply because Clinton is womanizer and because some people think there are funny details about Vince Foster's death, these things don't matter.

Neither Erin's statement nor your statement are repudiations of the actual accusations, which is exactly what I said.
