The phone is unlocked, I bought one the last time they had the sale. I think its a great phone, it's certainly much better than my Samsung Galaxy. I put it on a pay-as-you -go plan with Airvoice wireless which uses ATT,. Works crystal clear. This phone is really under rated!

If you get SPB Mobile Shell, the icons are larger and you can use your fingers to navigate around, and it's easier to view. I need reading glasses now, and windows mobile is very difficult to read without them, I put Mobile Shell on so I wouldn't have to stop to put my glasses on when using the phone. I have the iPaq 910c, very similar.

You can also put any web browser you want on it!

I have been here since Aximsite. I like reading all the info on new products that keep us mobile from authors who actually use this stuff! I also like to use the forums to get help and give help. One of my best moments was when someone thanked me for the help I gave them when there Axim wasn't working correctly.

If Dell had added phone capabilities to the Axim X51v and came out with that in 2008 they would have been ahead of the game and probably outsold every other converged device. Looks like they are going to come out with something else now, I think they are too late.

Does anyone else think there are too many models of phones out there, it's ridiculous!

I wonder how long it takes to get used to having the steering in the back of you. Seems kind of awkward and dangerous. The video also never shows him using the pedals, he's always coasting, like to see him pedaling and steering around a corner at the same time.

I take it back, went to the site, it's electric! No pedaling!

Looks like they added a mini plug for earbuds in addition to the mini-usb. Previous version should have had this.
